That's a really excellent turn out for this end of the season with not much to play for. Did pre match ticket sales show a high turn out or did a load of fans pay on the day?
Negotiations ongoing- not sure how MK works but it looks like blocks of around 1500 so next jump will be to 6k and then maybe 7.5k.
Going to be a noisy day
It comes in around 980- that's about the lot for Newport. Ground only holds 7,800 for football games.
Funny place Newport- away end is right in the middle of a housing estate and you can, if you get there early enough, literally park on the street outside the away end.
Bit like Mansfield-...
I can only apologise - completely missed that one.
We only have to offer 1,000 to Tranmere and segregate block 3 then (Blocks 4-7 have around 1100 seats).
I don't think the club considered Tranmere bringing a full away end but, on their current following and form, they would
Tranmere tickets not on sale yet that I can see.
Tranmere will get 1,500 as did Mansfield and Grimsby- segregation worked much much better when we played Grimsby after the shambles against Mansfield.
There won't be any home fans in the Stacey West against Tranmere
Not a bad turnout at all.
Wasn't expecting any other club to fill the away end at SB this season but Easter Monday will certainly be a home sell out and, IMHO, I think you'll bring the full 1,500.
Then they'd be just as traumatised by the Dambusters theme played before each game (the theme prefixed by the glorious sound of 4 Merlins in full flow) and sung by the Imps faithful when the mood takes us- guess Sincil Bank wouldn't be for them
Likes- some cracking away days without any (much) hassle and decent crack between home and away fans which doesn't happen the higher up the leagues you get. Morecambe is a favourite away day if only for Fish and Chips on the sea front with Eric after the game.
Easy to travel to and from most...
Whats the home end looking like for sales? Should be a great atmosphere- we can be as inconsistent but have just hit a growing vein of form with 3 wins on the spin.
Sounds like it depends which team turns up on the night (for either of us)
Monday night is going to be interesting! We're unbeaten since Boxing day (League) and have scored at least once in the last 26 games (including FA Cup) going back to October.
Your home record is really very strong.
Draw would suit us more than you but doubt we will be playing for a draw.
Enjoyed a day out in Gloucestershire- nice chat with a couple of FGR fans as we walked up the hill and had a rather nice veggie burger when I had got my breath back.
Personally this was the most complete I've seen Lincoln play all season- only Exeter away has come close to it. FGR weren't as...
