Our recent record against Swindon is truely abysmal. I’ve been the county ground four times and we’ve lost them all.
Just looked at our head to head record since 2009;
Tranmere 1-4 Swindon (2009)
Swindon 3-0 Tranmere (2010)
Swindon 0-0 Tranmere (2011)
Tranmere 0-2 Swindon (2011)
Swindon 5-0...
It could go either way. He could be signing of the season and prove he’s better than this level or he could blow it all again with off field issues and drag his reputation back through the mire.
Ive just worked out since Wrexham were relegated out the league in 2008;
Mansfield
Luton
Grimsby
Lincoln
Macclesfield
Barnet
Bristol Rovers
Cheltenham
Tranmere
Have all followed Wrexham to non-league but have since bounced back. Say what you like about Wrexham but their fans and the town need...
Tranmere 9-0 Solihull Moors 2016/17 (then we actually lost at home to them this season 1-2)
Plymouth 6-0 Tranmere 2003/04 they romped to the league one title that year. (nationwide division 2 as it was known)
Honourable mentions;
Mansfield 6-1 Tranmere 2002/03 we went 0-1 up.
Hull 6-1...
Finally caught up on this thread after being out for the last three days drinking, what a weekend!
The sense of relief to win on Saturday and make it back to the EFL is indescribable. Feels like the weight of the world has been lifted and my club is on its way back.
It’s not been all bad, made...
I see Bradford scored a last minute winner today away at Kidderminster to sneak into the play offs were they will now travel back to Kidderminster for play offs? Footballs great sometimes. :brill:
Wow, Woking really have dropped like a sack of shite haven’t they.
Weren’t they in play offs after about 15/20 games?
Only just seen how much trouble they’re in.
I’ve just watched the 18 minute highlight reel on Wrexham’s YouTube of their game v Boring Wood and for what it’s worth the ref had a shocker.
I know everyone’s biased to their teams but some of the decisions it’s like he’s trying to hard to prove he’s not a homer. Shocking calls.
Do Fylde never play away? I swear every time i look at fixtures they’re home!
New Year’s Day they hosted us and have since played both Chester and Guiseley at home with Macc to come tomorrow. 30th December was our last home game.
Our last five meetings with Peterborough;
Tranmere 0-5 Peterborough League one 2013/14
Peterborough 5-0 Tranmere F.A cup 2013/14
Peterborough 3-0 Tranmere League one 2013/14
Peterborough 1-1 Tranmere F.A cup 2017/18
Tranmere 0-5 Peterborough F.A cup 2017/18
1-19 aggregate.
Competitive.
Joke of a club. Last season refused to release highlights and as it was midweek there was no highlight show. One of our fans signed up and subscribed to their website and was able to watch highlights which he then uploaded to YouTube. Borehamwood threatened legal action and the YouTube clip was...
