Game in hand and in good form so hopefully keep it up despite the hurdles we have to over come with injuries and suspension.
Run of 6-7 games against bottom half sides now so it’s up to us to make the most of that. Typically we don’t but hopefully this Vale side are different. Time will tell
It did to be fair, think that was early season though because he played us at VP.
As I said i guess even if only fit for the last 10 games and gets them a few goals to grab a 4-5 wins and a couple of draws that might make all the difference.
Hasn't he only played like 3 months in 1 and a half seasons now so the issue is how long will it take to get him up to full match fitness? That said if he gets you 5-6 wins out the last 10 then that might be enough.
The Crewe issue was they asked for more which we happily gave them yet they are capping ours below the normal we get despite the space so for me, next year we cap them if in the same league, Play offs as said we will give our opponents if in them what we get so no advantage, if X club wanted the...
It’s poor from Crewe in the fact they moaned about a bigger allocation then we are getting at their place, which we then gave them and we probably need to be tougher when clubs do that and then expect us to go “here’s whatever you want”. Notts it didn’t matter in the end but another example.
Of...
Yeah when it was home end there was nothing there and can't drink in the concourse as its in view of the pitch (left hand side as you're in it, think the idea is to make a more permanent one, the whole car park behind the old away end is now a home fan zone with stalls etc but assuming the Vale...
Wonder what its like for the away fans now as I haven't been around that end to see the fan zone etc is like, where even is it as there doesnt seem much space for one?
Away end is the opposite side but it hasn't changed massively, the Lorne Street is now externally complete as we wanted it done for the Robbie Williams Concert in 2022 but doesn't have a concourse on the side thats been 28 years in the making so cant be used for football at present and the...
After Salford who themselves are in poor form currently we have a key run of games:
Tranmere A, Harrogate H, Fleetwood A, Colchester A, MK H, Morecambe H, Barrow H where we need to target a big points haul and not do the usual Vale of beating top sides then not be ruthless against the bottom...
It’s so open and whenever anyone looks like they might pull away from the pack Walsall aside they’ve then gone and been dragged back in, Crewe a couple of weeks ago, then Doncaster and now Notts County, suggests plenty of twists and turns to come.
Grimsby is a funny one as they seem streaky...
Would of been ideal to have rearranged Barrow for Tuesday with us having not played this weekend and given us chance to keep up on games played rather than lose ground and have a backlog.
Looking for a treble having beaten Salford twice in league and cup away this season but they seem much...
Accrington have gone back off the boil after beating Crewe and having a good mini run. Our victory with ten men over them seems to have knocked them back and are right in the battle now.
Tranmere though just don’t seem to be turning around much and Morecambe look like they have life left in...
Interesting to see they interviewed the referee from Thursday on sky sports today about the Tolaj pull back decision.
Refreshing to here the referee explain his decision.
Said it would be the one we used for the 100th and if you look at the 150 anniversary announcement on the website the badges are all faded behind that one which is at the front!
