Was a chilly one! But obviously for statistical purposes to compare to other clubs our average attendance would be much higher than it is if using the same yard stick.
Decent number, does show how our stats are affected by declaring actual attendance over tickets sold as we'd sold over 7000 home tickets by Tuesday so 1000 STH didn't turn up so when comparing to other clubs it would have been well over 8k.
Not sure what time you got in the ground or if there but they watered it heavily, especially the box Notts shot towards first half. Possibly a tactical decision.
Stockley is massive for us really but I don't think he was fit last night, pretty much said after the game we wanted to try and get 60 out of him with the 9 day rest after but he was in agony so had to come off with the same issue. He was off it last night. Curtis though is a quality player in...
DM got it spot on at half time (again), we moved the two central midfielders further up the field and pressed higher and that changed the game as then we had all the play and don’t recall Notts creating a single thing second half until the scramble off the bar at the end.
Not sure why we played...
Much better second half, far more aggressive and probably overall a game of two halves there. We just took our chance. Feels a massive win that. Well and truly back in the race.
Embarrassing performance that. Don’t mind letting them have possession but we are miles off it. Making them look like Barcelona and not keeping possession when we have it.
Mate watching on tele reckons Jatta should be off but we don’t seem to get those. Retrospective ban won’t help us tonight...
Yeah they battered us and Lewington for a moment though he was in a Rugby line out in the box and punched the ball.
Even this season we’ve not won one that’s been moved for it and we’ve had it what 6-7 games moved.
Also worth pointing out our record on games moved for sky is diabolical too. Aside from the play off semi final and final I can’t recall the last win! Probably 2012 or something!
At Meadow Lane we had Stockley not fit to start, no Smith, no Clark, Byers or Hart.
If you look back when we saw that XI at 2pm most of us were panicking!
No reason Notts can’t win this, our strike force and midfield looks excellent on paper tonight but defensively I’m a bit worried so you’ll get chances.
We was forced off Saturday first half so a little surprised as with us that’s usually weeks!
We had all but one of our key midfielders out for two months… (including our supposed stellar signing for over 3 months) we’ve had most of our wing backs out for months (John, Clark, Hart), lost...
He’s the only option really. He’s the only defender with pace and strength to counter Jatta. Smudge pinching him and getting a reaction to get him sent off would be the second best option but Heneghan whilst taller would struggle with his pace.
Headley out is a blow, Shorrock did play well at Meadow Lane but hasn’t been great of late. Debrah in for the Jatta man marking job, Stockley in is a boost.
Biggest boost though is the first choice midfield three finally getting an appearance together for the first time this season with...
Headley and Clark not to mention a back up to Clark in Sang.
Headley if out as was seen limping out of training last night is a big blow as he’s been a revelation in the balance of the team.
If Stockley isn’t fit enough to start then it’s likely a kid in Hackford or Umolu who was awful last...
