Referee was dreadful.
He missed 2 stonewall penalties - one for eadh team.
The equaliser was a penalty - it’s a shove. Although sometimes you get away with it.
9 players out. So it’s a decent point i guess.
I get the feeling this season we will score 80 goals and concede 90-100.
We are missing 4 defenders in fairness. Judge us at Xmas. We should stay up I think. Bodin is an absolute steal. Happy with a point but hard to take so late.
In fairness to Bolton fans, they won’t be going to see the Wrexham, they will be going because they are a big club with a proper fanbase.
25000 at this level is excellent. Not many can manage it.
At £27 a ticket I can’t see that happening..
And we have lost 2 on the bounce
Might be less, then you can put us on the side next to that condemned stand
Ticket sales have gone well I read - would expect 1000 by Saturday.
We seem to play very open, so I expect us to score 2 and concede 2 or 3 again until we get players back from injury and new additions in.
Should be a good game. Be nice to see Lucas again and Nigel. Both club legends for what...
Well, it’s better than last season.
But we are still wide open at the back which is a concern.
Lots of players out injured, so not overly concerned yet. I think we will be ok.
Lincoln looked very open but decent.
Would have been happy with a draw but hey ho.
On Saturday our capacity is reduced ( and for the season ) as there is a stupid fucking camera gantry in the middle of the terrace behind the goal - reducing it by 500.
Given we have sold 4500 tickets already for Saturday and Lincoln will bring 1500, that’s 6000. Our capacity was 7000. So we...
I would be happy with a draw as well. Think it will be an open and entertaining game. The pre season games so far are a complete contrast to last season with an emphasis on getting the ball down and playing more.
If you are going there is a lot of pre march entertainment planned - hopefully...
Lincoln at home.
It will be a 3-1 loss, a 3-1 win or a 2-2 draw
God knows. We will probably sign another 15 players by Friday anyway and change the whole team.
As a note. The season we came second in this division to Wigan and went up, I think we were favourites to go back to league two.
So predictions mean nothing.
Mansfield will do well as momentum and a feel good atmosphere round the club can keep you going.
My prediction - ( for what it’s worth )...
I’m still pissed that 3pm becomes 530pm on the opening day. It will affect some attendances by a couple of hundred at each game I’m sure.
Stop fucking about with the times for god sake.
It’s great that we are widely tipped to go down. Hopefully we can go under the radar a bit.
New manager, 17 new players, old ones gone, new backroom staff, new owners.
We are somewhat of an unknown quantity.
