Birmingham is one of the most diverse cities in the world and sadly there was still racial abuse targeted at our fans on Saturday. Sadly seems to be back on the rise in football but also good it’s being called out more, there’s idiots at every club
Couldn’t get into the game. Birmingham defended well and when we did have the ball we were ineffective and poor, if the players are going to have an off day it’s better to have one in a game we were always likely to lose. They controlled the game whilst not creating much but at 1-0 up that’s all...
Birmingham in complete control of the game but we gifted them a goal with some sloppy play. Our keeper handled outside the box so we should probably be down to 10. Birmingham are a really whiny team, would love to nick a scrappy goal but we’re struggling to do much atm, more likely they get a...
It's a bit of a cursed job tbh and difficult to judge him on, so he won't get a lot of external praise. Like you said the spending will always be the stick you'll be beaten with. Your squad is so much better than everyone elses you're rightly heavy favourites for every single game you go into...
Deserved win against Peterborough but left it late. A few controversial decisions in the game but none that I saw as obviously being wrong. We were completely dominant and should have been more comfortable but got the win in the end. Peterborough were awful, it feels weird seeing a Posh side...
I agree the gap is massive between League One and Championship but Oxford have done ok, so it's possible. Wrexham would invest heavily if they went up presumably (FFP dependent) and I'm not even that convinced by Birmingham although again assume they will bring in Top half Championship quality...
We have Orient the week before, 30 minutes down the road for fans, play off rival but they pick this one instead and make it difficult for fans ...
That being said, I'm happy Orient is 3pm but if you have to pick a game that makes much more sense
It feels nice to actually be excited and nervous at this stage of the season, we are usually guaranteed mid table mediocrity by now. Us and Orient definitely the form sides but Bolton are likely to do well under Schumacher.
Bit worried about our run of games coming up though. We have 5 tough...
Comfortable win against an in form Stevenage side who didn’t even manage a shot on target. Full credit to Nathan Jones for turning our season around after many (including me) thought he was destined for the sack. Long may it continue
Jones has made it clear he doesn't like to bring in loans as he'd prefer to develop his own players so it was a big u turn yesterday as we signed 2 on loan and tried to bring in another. Alex Gilbert from Middlesborough seems like a promising signing and we've been crying out for a cam. Tom...
Comfortable win in which we were rarely threatened and should have won by more. Probably our best game of the season for chance creation. Rovers were awful which helped.
Fair play to Burton for turning it around. By far the worst league one side Ive ever seen, so to get some confidence back...
I’ve not missed Gareth Ainsworth being out this league. Time wasting from the get go, getting away with niggly pushes whilst winning plenty of fouls from pushes against. Game plan worked and we couldn’t break them down but thankfully managed to nick it at the death
My understanding is the bulk of the fee is add ons that will likely never be paid but even so it's been a disaster of a transfer and the upfront fee is still too high. We don't have a large transfer budget and it was the bulk of the money we got from selling May used on him. We were desperate...
