Rodney Parade remains unvisited for me. Tried to go there the first time in non-league only for it to be called off when we'd got to Newport; both times since promotion have now been on a Tuesday night (conceeded a 97th min equaliser there last season).
Everyone we have who can play right back...
May not have been a fully deserved win (only 2 shots on target) but a goal worthy of winning any game:
Cracker
One way to avoid having to use our dodgy pitch...
Our pitch is crap (not as bad as some judging on highlights), caused by us having to train on it. Doesn't suit our style of play either as we have no height beyond CBs, though i guess we may be more used to it.
Also re-signed (4th time i guess?) Danny Whitehead on loan from Salford who they've clearly deemed surplus to requirments after signing half of League One. Not sure who is approving these signings, or if we've actually agreed to pay any other eithers' wages.
Can't see us troubling you too much. However, if Kirby (suspended for when we were supposed to play) scores the winner then Artell's head might explode.
While we're only 1 win in 14 (also vs Cambridge), additionally we've only managed 3 wins in 24 with two of those wins being countered by our points deduction so i raise you our record.
To be fair several times we only had 2 outfield players on the bench, which didn't help.
He is fiercely loyal to a team that wins. Even if someone has to play hideously out of position to cover for injury/suspension - and you win - he'll stick with it for the next game regardless. Also problems...
Absolutely no reason why Vale can't make the play-offs. However, (and i'm not agreeing with Devon Lad in any way) we did suffer a second-half of the season slump and fade from play-off contenders to lower top half under Askey for 2 or 3 years before it all came together. Not saying that's going...
