Seems a good signing based on how Tranmere fans used to talk about him. Probably means Campbell wants to continue with 5 at the back with wing backs, and that Fitz (who Sol hasn't got on with) may well be on his way out too sadly.

I'd say Evans is a bigger loss than Wilson for us, mostly due to his versatility being so useful when we (should/)can only afford a small squad. Better RB/RW option than MWH and better CDM than most of who we put there last year. Bit injury prone however.

Think we're just planning on playing 6 defenders with one designated as rush goalie; probably rotate it round but Welch-Hayes would be my choice considering his handling in the area last season.

Quite. We signed 10 players in January with the majoiry of them not being good enough (or actually being inelligible) to play, and thus not actualling playing more than a few minutes, if at all. This is also entirely reminiscent of the Steve King "era".

Adam Dawson has signed a new contract with us. Practically a completely new signing consider he was inellible to actually play for us last season.
