Regardless of what league we're in, I can't imagine anyone who's good enough for us to want wanting to stay after how they've been treated this year. Who the manager is will affect some players decisions too.
At least we'll have Vincenti though.
Yea we've been watching everyone else pull out results like that every now and then for 3 months while we couldn't! You (@ Notts) beat FGR, Mansfield and Carisle; Yeovil beat Mansfield (admittedly ages ago); Morecambe beat FGR and MK; Cambridge beat Bury away; and Cheltenham just started beating...
Nah we've done you a favour so you owe us a point!
Better second half from us but remained a close, tightly fought game til the end. Exeter have some good players (Boateng) but shaky at the back. We should've scored twice before we did, pretty sure Stephens stopped a Smith header going in on...
People complain that 5-3-2 formation is too defensive; we could play 10 centre backs and our defending would still be laughable. Penalty was a lifeline.
No point battling for a point at Lincoln if you put in limp performances at home to Stevenage and Morecambe either side of it. We won't play a worse side before the end of the season and could only draw, when we desperately need wins. Campbell needs to come up with sone inspiration and new ideas...
We were shocking for most of that half, truly awful. Positioning, passing, first touches, tackling was completely absent and the goal was definitely coming. Got a bit better towards the end, ish. Our 3 CBs and 3 in midfield just end up on top of each other so instead of having an extra man in...
We can definitely play a lot better than we did - our midfield was poor with possession and kept getting in each others way - though I expect that was partly due to playing against a good team.
We might have games against teams in the bottom 3rd but I'd rather be playing the firmly midtable...
O'hara has had a lot of man of the match performances this season and made a lot of top class saves. Lincoln looked very good first half with some lovely one touch passing football around our box, and we were always going to need a slice of luck to get a goal. 2nd half we defended a bit better...
I'd say my confidence had dropped further, but i already had absolutely 0 expectations.
Think 12 of our last 20 conceded were from set pieces or pens, several more from crosses in open play.
Can we at least negotiate to you only winning by 1 goal? Goal difference might prove important to us abd a thumping wouldn't be good for morale.
We're pretty good at conceding penalties and really good at conceding from set pieces for anyone looking for a goalscorer bet.
What happens to the rule of us following you when you go up and we go down? Does that mean next season we're guaranteed promotion back up? Will we go up and you go down to ensure we don't spend more than a year apart? Maybe the essence of reality will crumble? I think to be safe and make sure...
Guess we'll find out in a few days whether we manage to get the "paying employees" bit right this time around after the last two months of having issues.
If we're to have any chance of staying up we need to win at least 3 of our 4 home games; displacing and angering your club's fans, and...
