Top scorer but never managed to establish a regular spot in the starting XI - under four different managers too. Undoubtedly an excellent finisher though and I'm sad to see him go. It's a shame we couldn't have got some money for him.
Really need to get Durrell signed up now if we actually...
Tyrone Marsh leaves us to join B-wood in the conference. A hero of our promotion season but not quite good enough for this level. Hope he can get back to his best with some regular game time.
Key player - Durrell I guess, but he seems to be leaving
Signing you’re most excited about - can I say none of them? If not, Joe Ironside
The player you expect to step up this season - Brice Ntambwe who will hopefully build on his strong finish to last season
Fixture you’re most looking...
Statement from the club: https://www.mtfc.co.uk/news/2019/july/03.07.19-club-statement-relating-to-the-high-court/
Disgraceful attitude from the club regarding the unpaid wages. The fact that these players no longer play for us is completely irrelevant.
Trying to be optimistic here.... I think we should be able to cut our costs substantially if we can get the squad size down to 20 or so. Hopefully we will then avoid these current problems but we'll have to wait and see. Making better use of the loan market would make good financial sense for...
Had to be done and I hope the players get everything they are owed as soon as possible. All this trouble was inevitable once we made so many January signings without getting rid of the previous players. Clearly a club of our size can't afford a squad of 32 players, especially during the close...
The reason you're at home is because there are some concerts being held at Edgeley Park this month - that's why our friendly there, scheduled for that date, has been canceled and replaced by your game.
Leaves us still with only two friendlies against Cheadle and Congleton. Now that we've got...
Added time isn't supposed to perfectly match the amount of time that the balls not in play. It's basically just for substitutions, treating injuries, time wasting, disciplinary stuff and goal celebrations (and now VAR too). I doubt anyone expects to see the ball in play for 90 minutes per game...
Well we survived the hearing. Never in doubt
Now we've just got to get next month's wages out of the way and then we can look forward to a trouble free season living within our means (I hope).
