Wow, it's like a ghost town here!
Shame as it used to be a great forum, full of fellow City fans, and a good place to take a break from OTIB. Guess I'm as much to blame as anyone else though, as haven't been here for ages.
Anyway, I've got a sneaky feeling that we may have a good season this...
That's an interesting point for me. No doubt there are better managers out there, but is there a better "fit" right now?
City have a plan for the way forward, and LJ appears to have bought into this plan 100%. Whereas I think most managers are only interested in the here and now (which is fully...
Cheers guys. refreshing to get sensible replies on this topic (well mostly, eh Charlie?)
As you say Ciderup, The quality of OTIB is being dragged right down lately by the constant In/Out point scoring, which is a shame, as OTIB is generally one of the best club forums around.
Would love to see us start with the same team that finished the game against Bolton, but can't see it.
Seems to be the perfect time to be playing Forest, so hopeful of a result.
1-2
Been off this forum for a while, and can't believe how quiet it is now.
Especially this thread.......nothing since December.
So............Lee Johnson, what are your views at this point in time?
Seriously, totally fed up with the polarised views on OTIB, so interested to get some thoughts...
If you haven't caught this........
Interesting album from Anti Nowhere League, basically reggae covers.
It's not too bad, but personally think it would have been better if "punked up" a bit more.
I'm sure I read recently a Cardiff supporter saying something like "we're not playing very well, but everything going our way".
Reminds me of our season at this point last year, and we are all aware that you can't rely on good fortune staying with you all the way through.
So that gives me hope...
Fulham play the same way that we do, and if we're not careful they could do the same to us as Leeds did - hit us hard and fast from the start, which we never recovered from. We need be on top of our high press, quick closing down, from the first whistle.
Score first and I can see us winning by...
Great result for us last night, but the performance of the night has to go to Wolves. Holding Man City to a 0-0 on their own patch is amazing when you consider how they have been smashing other teams this season.
If I was a Burton supporter, I'm really not sure whether I would be proud or embarrassed by their performance last night.
I've got no problems with teams parking the bus, but their constant time wasting and feigning injury was a disgrace.
And I must say, probably the worst ref I have seen in 40...
Having watched both teams against City this season, I would say based on those that Wolves should win this. But Villa have picked up since we played them, so like you say a difficult one to predict.
I do think though that Wolves will win the league this season, so I'll stick with my gut...
