GET A LIFE
[Ahem]
1978–80 Division 4: Huddersfield Town, Hartlepool United, Hereford United, Halifax Town
1981–83 Division 4: Hull City, Hereford United, Hartlepool United, Halifax Town
There may be others?
Can't add to that synopsis tbh.
Harrogant's a good away day if you're feeling flush, up until the football bit where the best way of parking is breaking one of your party's legs so you can use the hospital's grounds.
Keep trying to type other things but my autocorrect's just writing...
Those teams on the map show a congested south east and a very disparate north with 120 miles or more separating the two units, 144 if you discount Solihoof. No derbies or traditional rivalries for a single northern side. Those of us who aren't in the mix are going to get bored stiff.
14 cockney...
Would agree that it certainly depends on the climate. Before here I was on the Non-League Forum which was later taken down, and they relished telling all the AFCs of this world that they weren't so famous anymore. Before that was a forum called Non-League Zone that dealt with the Northern...
I'd been saying how much of a larf it would be to see Morning Wood in the football league, whether they'd be there with 400 fans or a sudden 1,000 newcomers, and was so fascinated to see the reactions it would elicit from the #Elite92 as the effects of non-league financial doping make themselves...
I know ;)
To be fair to the B-Wood as well, the 438 they brought to Sutton is as many as big ol' Salford took to the Shay for their own play-off semi. No further a distance, plus they're the most publicised non-league club going, representing a big city.
Don't lots of cockney clubs who wind up at Wembley fetch huge numbers down? Like even Grays or whoever would attract 800 to a semi-final then bring 10,000–30,000 down. I reckon even Morning Wood could do that, wherever they may come from. Perhaps they need another endorsement from Little Mix...
Your personal player of the season: Might well be Matty Brown after all that. Dedicated member of the defence.
Your teams best prospect: Sammy Johnson, huge keeper with great reflexes.
Biggest flop: Martin Riley. I think he was player of the season at Wrecsam before joining us. Got injured two...
Been there meself as a toddler, much worse if it's at the prime of your life as an athlete, especially so if it's bacterial. Horrible to hear and I'm sure everyone's united here in hoping he pulls through.
Wonderful stuff. Barra are staying up.
Hope we don't bring in another cringeworthy shirt next season, my current two are decrepit so I'd like to be able to buy a new one this time.
B2TF's grouping is a thing of the past. I have formed a Trotskyist splinter group with a load of other Shaymen fans. We're called Former #Elite92 League Club Halifax (FELCH) and we spend most of our interminable meetings celebrating each other.
I'm liking this. No big blank space to the left on my desktop browser as there was before. Nice and compact. Would sacrifice a bit of that for user titles, locations and support as Blue Lion pokes at. Well designed.
Congratulations to Handsome Danny Whitaker Plus Ten FC for their promotion. I haven't seen a better side than Tranmere this season, but although our usual fans were wailing over Christmas that Whitaker FC were an average side, that was never in evidence. They knew just what to do, and if they...
