We had one two seasons ago when we sold out at Blackpool abd it was 3pm kick off. EFL now saying that they can no longer allow it as it breaks the 3pm live TV embargo. So the EFL are openly saying Blackburn have broken the rules.

Blackpool don't have a safety certificate to allow more than 2,200 away fans, so we were told, now they are suddenly letting more in. Some bullshit happening somewhere.

Nothing worse than losing a football match on contentious circumstances. Even if you dominate a game and lose to the opponents only shot, fair is fair. But when you lose purely because of officials mistakes it is hard to take. Pitman lucky not to see straight red early on, slid in very late...

    Blackburn v Bradford - Thursday (!) 29th March

Looking at Blackburns line up tonight, they've gone all out attack that's for sure. Blackburn umbeaten in 7 months at home, Bradford 4 months without am away win. Can't see anything other than a comfortable home win.

I disagree. We've only played 7 matches in the last 6 and a half week. Have pretty much a fully fit squad and the largest in the league probably. The players haven't been anywhere near 100% effort wise and we've got 5 points from 5 games. We've only decided to turn up against West Ham and Man...

We'll lose today, Blackburn are invincible at Ewood Park against us. Won about 5 in a row against us. Our record at Ewood Park is one of the worst head to head records of all 92 league clubs. 1 win 1 draw and 10 defeats despite us being in a similar league position in the majority, that record...

You really need to look at facts before coming on and spouting shit as per usual. Both Swansea and Bournemouth have had similar lows to Wigan and both have a much higher population and don't have loads of Premier League clubs surrounding them. Fair play to Bristol Rovers for calling it off so...

Completely disagree on Smallwood don't rate him one bit. The thing is though, the players you mention, Mulgrew plays the left sided defence role so would compete with Burn who is a far better defender, it's offensively which makes Mulgrew so good, at fault for lot's of goals at the back but is...

In 25 years of watching us I've never seen a Wigan side put in less effort in the game than tonight, backed out of every challenge, every player was petrified of picking up an injury or suspension and missing the City game. No effort at all, barely even hit jogging pace. Will be glad when City...

We deserve to be playing at this level after the awful performances last season caused by the total mismanagement of the club and shambolic training methods.

Wouldnt sll for 15m to be honest. Probably the most naturally gifted footballer we've had and I include Valencia who we sold to United for 16m 9 years ago, Moses, Baines etc who have had great careers. He keeps fit and he's got it all. Definitely be playing Premier League football in the not too...

    Rochdale issues

So what the hell is going to happen? According to Rochdale fans apparently Spotland is out of use for the forseeable future, they have a home replay next Tuesday, a home match on 10th February against Fleetwood, home again on 17th against Oldham (FA Cup or not), all 3 almost certain to be...

Home games against teams that are defensive and very organised can tend to be the hardest games to be fair, you're expected to win and frustration can creep in. The games were teams are more open and have a go are a lot easier normally.

    FA Cup Round 4

Players were never the issue last season. Terrible managers, poor coaching methods a lot of which had a big impact behind why we picked up so many injuries and it cost us, at one point 17 players were out at once. Managers falling out with and sending key players out on loan was also a disgrace...

    Argyle v Good Latics

Superb result. They'd won 5 in a row at home and was never going to be an easy game, weren't at our best and didn't create loads of chances like usual but took our chances. Think conceding first helped us, that clean sheet record was becoming a hinder as we kept drawing 0-0.

Er because we took just over 200 not 91. Not brilliant but at close to £50 to a ground we'd been to multiple times and had just registered our record ever defeat the season before, hardly surprising it wasn't more well received. Fair play to the ones who did go as we produced a great performance...

    Argyle v Good Latics

Will be a lot tougher game than we would have expected a couple of months ago, for reasons mentioned. Having to play a game Wednesday night so close to a long distance trip wasn't ideal. At least we were able to make a lot of changes but our first choice central midfield pairing both played the...
