I assume we will go further below than that. I believe Darlo went to the Northern League, which would be 4 divisions below what we are currently in

Stickied Transfer Rumours & Confirmed Deals Thread 2024/25

Think you will have got him for free. Hadn't signed a pro-contract with us, so at best we'll get compo with him being a youth. It looks like we will be going into administration on 25th January too, so we can hardly haggle with you over a price! Strange signing mind, he doesn't have the strength...

    National League 2017-18

It's sounding more and more like the bloke who owns the company who own Pools has simply had enough and walked away from it all, cut his losses and left the Chairwoman in charge. She is an accountant and nothing more, so has put the club up for sale. I imagine a lot of bills are paid (i.e...

Match Day National League Saturday 6th January 2017

It's no surprise that Woods, Cassidy and Oates may be missing, after they were all clearly shagged against Gateshead and weren't subbed early enough. Hopefully Ledger/Watson not training was more precaution than anything else!

If Watson and Ledger aren't going to be fit, I would genuinely not bother with this game. Might aswell send the u-16's. If they are, and the players can forget that they aren't going to be paid this month, we have a chance. Providing Adams is back, anyway.

    2017/18 National League North

Some good news for all teams chasing the play-offs, except for Spennymoor, like. They are on the verge of signing Scott Harrison from us. If he somehow gets his game, it inevitably means they will drop out of the play-offs as every team will effectively start with a 1 goal advantage.

    National League 2017-18

Sounds like our Trust have had a lot of help from other clubs Trusts. It appears that our sticking point at the minute is how are we going to fund the remainder of the season without some investment. The Trust certainly can't do it, and our current owners don't appear to want to. Our starting...

Yeah, it's a strange one. It's not as if he's even tried to fit him in either. Just been left to fester on the bench. He was one signing in the summer that was pretty much unanimously praised down here. I don't think Newton particularly showed any strength, though he didn't need to either...

I know you were 2-0 down after 7 minutes which must've knocked the stuffing out of your team, but you were easily the poorest team we've played so far. Eclipsing Chester by some way. You really didn't offer anything apart from a few long balls into the box for the tall striker. He is awful by...

I'm glad I'm not the only one with this opinion of Rodney. I thought he was relatively awful last night, but most people around me thought he played well. Rodney out for Franks and Harrison out for anyone on Saturday please. I think Munns could play the same role Newton played last night, but...
