I wouldn't write him off that quick. He more than held his own in League Two when called upon, and put in some MOTM displays. Unfortunately he is also suspect to a poor game. Certainly more than capable at this level in my opinion.
Just seen our team news. It's fucking horrific. Was struggling to get to the game today but seeing that has made me not want to rush around to get there. Congratulations on your win, Maidstone
One of them has played the last two games and looked good. The other simply can't be any worse than the lad he is replacing, who would have gifted you at least 1 goal.
Providing we don't play with the same midfield as we did at Guiseley, we should be much improved
Must win game for us. Reduced ticket prices so hopefully a big crowd. We've got two new centre halves replacing the two calamities that have played their so far this season which will hopefully see a big improvement, and we can stop playing hoofball.
Sat 2nd - Maidstone (H) Draw
Sat 9th - Dagnum (H) Loss
Tues 12th - Wrexham (A) Loss
Sat 16th - Orient (A) Loss
Sat 23rd - Eastleigh (H) Draw
Sat 30th - Woking (A) Win
Tough set of fixtures for us. Really need to win 4 of them. Orient on the tele so thats nailed on defeat. Big month for us
Yeah got to agree with the midfield headaches, we have lots of similar types of player, and only Franks you could class as a winger. I think for me, when we are at home, teams are generally going to set up more defensive minded against us, which means we can afford to play a more attacking line...
Forgot to make my predictions for this one. Had a quick check at how everyone thought we would get on at Guiseley and noticed djs got it spot on but only got 1 point..
Even with all of the injuries, it was a baffling team to pick. Magnay could've played LB, Richardson RB. I wouldn't mind the 4-3-3 formation if we didn't revert to 4-5-1 constantly. Cassidy winning the ball and he should have both Franks and Rodney ahead of him or inevitably the hoofball tactic...
Fair point, I may have been a little harsh. Especially as no one can be as bad as Scott Harrison. Rodney just looks uncomfortable with the ball at his feet, like he doesn't know what to do with it. Maybe he just isn't a winger. Would still be happy to see him given a go upfront. He uses his body...
Worst game of 'football' I've ever watched that. Utterly depressing.
It took Scott Harrison all of 4 minutes to gift you a glorious chance, which you somehow managed to hit the crossbar with. Thankfully he went off injured and it looks like we've signed another defender to replace him.
The one...
