    League 2 relegation thread 14/15

posting this here as it is the busiest thread, but it should really be in the tinpot one. Crawley's 50/50 prize pot for Saturday was £38.50 apparently, which is just a shambles and it has given me a good giggle.

    Salop v York

good player, very quick and decent in the air. The majority of us want him to sign for next season (free agent in the summer) but he has said in the paper that he is essentially keeping his options open, although he said that the new stadium may entice better players to sign. The last comment...

    Salop v York

I wouldn't say it would be easy, we are unbeaten in six, four of which have been wins, and we have been surprisingly decent on the road this year. That said, I do think you will win but if you turn up with an attitude of an easy win, you may come unstuck- I think we will make it difficult for...

The Pirelli Derby Brewers v Cumbrians

bet365 saying that burton have had 27 shots- 7 on target- to Carlisle's 2, 1 of which was on target. Hoping you hold on, I don't know why!

    League 2 relegation thread 14/15

Yes, fair play to him- I may have to change my signature on here! However, I don't think he will be here next season, and I do think that Cressie has had a bit to do with the form/tactics, but Summerfield's return has also seen us remain unbeaten and he has been good in the last run for me, we...

    League 2 relegation thread 14/15

well we are out of this mess for another year at least, and it is thanks to an absolute worldie of a strike from Russell Penn. I advise all and sundry on here to try to find it tomorrow, you will all appreciate it as a belter!

Who is stealing a wage at your club?

As said by the esteemed WILSONTOWN above, he looks competent going forwards but is a defender who doesn't seem to try enough when it comes to defending, often jogging back as the opposition's right full back bombs past him. His positional sense and distribution is iffy. That said, if it was...

Who is stealing a wage at your club?

Steve Torpey, our so called assistant manager is definitely stealing a wage, the man does nothing and how he has existed at the club through the changes in management over the past few years is beyond me. Defence- Marvin McCoy and Femi Ilesanmi, thanks Mr Worthington for signing these absolute...

Ah Ben Chorley, the delightful fellow who ruined our star strikers knee last season

Who is stealing a wage at your club?

Idea stolen/borrowed from the league 1 forum. May spark interesting conversation, I will post my views on our polished turd of a squad in the morning

City v United (Minstermen v Monkey Hangers)

Hugill- the man with a detached retina- was the worst, he was an absolute 'insertoffensiveswearwordhere'. Apparently he also started on McCombe, Zubar and Ingham in the game as well, angry little man. Their fans on their forum seem as staggered as we were regarding the red, shocking call but we...

City v United (Minstermen v Monkey Hangers)

hartlepool offered absolutely no incision at all, how they have gone on such a good run is staggering if you usually play like you played today. even with an extra man, they made it remarkably easy for us to defend for 45 minutes. Christ, we even started showboating by bringing on Ilesanmi!

City v United (Minstermen v Monkey Hangers)

Hmm, but we are also in a decent bit of form now and don't look terrible defensively for the first time this season. Can't see us losing, can't see us conceding more than one. 2-1 us me thinks

I would say, for us, four points from the next two would be enough

    U's v Bury

Yeah, seems odd that a well financed club brought in an inexperienced manager at pro level anyway (I believe). I'm just grateful you took the foot off the gas when you beat us at our place a few weeks back- actually, no I'm not because, if you had, our gaffer would have been sacked. For what...

    U's v Bury

out of curiosity, do most bury fans like flitcroft or not? to me- and i've only seen him manage teams against us three times and then reading/listening to interviews, he seems to be a bit of an arrogant git, thinking bury are something special in the big world of football?
