Another game to add to the list where we switch off for an extended period and leave ourselves too much to do. So frustrating.
Orient are at least a decent team unlike Shrewsbury, Barnsley and Stevenage. Galbraith is very good.
We should be winning but only ourselves to blame for switching off.
Orient have some good players so it's anyone's game really. We need to be more clinical in the second half of we are going to win this.
I suppose if the likes of Morecambe and Accrington have managed it then Alty could. Their crowds aren't too bad now and definitely have the capacity to grow in the FL as you say- it's a good location for a football team.
Of the teams currently in the top 7 York and Oldham would be fine in L2. Barnet would do their usual yo-yoing. Sadly Forest Green would also be fine. I can't see Halifax, Gateshead or Altrincham being able to compete financially if they did come up- although part of me would like to see Alty...
I'm not sure if they would have crossed swords before (I'm sure they have) but maybe Carver and BTTF will keep each other entertained. They give off similar energies.
How is it rigged? We had as much chance to draw them as anyone left in it. Why did Bradford draw the only U21 team left in the competition in the round of 16?- clearly the pro-Bradford bias to give them an easy route through to the quarter finals.
Don't buy in to the nonsense.
Particularly when you're going through a tough period as you are atm- makes you really appreciate the wins.
Before the takeover we had almost 20 years of largely utter gross so I am enjoying the direct ruthlessness of Parky.
With managers like him you can't say much really when it's delivering but when it doesn't (like at Sunderland) it's hard to defend.
I don't mind our style of football (helps that we win a lot). I can't stand teams that pass it forever without going anywhere. I find that boring to watch.
It sounds like the club are doing the right thing (ejecting fans when it's known they are shouting racist abuse etc) but it's just strange that there have been a number of issues with Rovers fans recently.
Racism exists in society sadly, and it's also on the rise, but I wonder why Bristol in...
I see Bristol Rovers are involved in more racism allegations. This isn't the first time is it? What's wrong with their fans? Every club has this element to some degree still but it seems like they have more than their fair share...
Same story every game we've won for the last three years. Considering how bad we clearly are we haven't don't too bad tbh.
It was a very professional performance. Never out of control, possibly could have pushed forward and scored more but the game was done at 2 nil. The fact Northampton (the...
The bottleneck with only one automatic promotion place does mean it's harder to be certain- our first season with Parky we were decent but still didn't go up despite spending a lot of money and finishing second. Stockport had also failed in the play offs the season before
That said the NL...
