I see Torquay United have appointed Paul Wooten from Truro City and Neil Warnock has joined as football advisor. I reckon they will be favourites for promotion next season.
Not so sure about that. Last home game went in the Forresters a local pub ( just been taken over ) and the lager was 6.30 a pint in a plastic glass. Went up the Welly and just over 6.00 a pint. Won't be drinking in either these pubs again.
Remember you lot ( I believe it was the Southern League ) when you pipped Minehead to the title. Think it was around 1972.And look where Minehead are today ???
I doubt they would see it as that. There derby is Villa and they also have a local rivalry with Albion. But to call you a local derby would be something else.
To be fair I think you have done brilliantly to have stayed in the Third division as long as you have. You are quite a small club and your budget must be either the lowest or next to the lowest. I still remember watching you in the Southern League Midland division.
Why do people keep calling it the " Home " & " Away " kit ? It is in fact the club kit and a change kit. Clubs should only change there kit if it clashes with the home teams kit. Pisses me off when I see teams who play in yellow change to red when they play us at our ground. Clubs should be...
Agree with Barnet & Dagenham. But in my lifetime although under a different guise Aldershot have nearly always been a FL club. We had great games against them in the 73/74 season.
