Could do with nicking first away league win in forever. Squad looking stretched though. Good time to play us (yes I know isn’t it always thank you) - Smith suspended, probably no left back, Gape injured last night. Add on a couple of long termers and we’re stretched. Hope O’Brien rested and not...
Once. It was as much a comment on Gillingham than yourselves. They shut out Swindon who are quite potent generally pretty easily. Obviously Tranmere not entirely without quality and we can all look a bit stupid with predictions but I’m struggling to see where you’ll trouble them.
I’d be quite surprised if Tranmere score against you having watched you churn out a couple of 1-0 away wins this season. Tranmere have one player to watch really down the right. Guess a bit different at home compared to away but I’d expect you to comfortably see them off.
Vital equaliser for us to keep us in touch. Think overall we probably deserved it, whilst not really putting too much together in pretty average conditions. Possibly a more confident Tranmere side would have pushed for the 2nd rather than sit on it but understandable given away season to date...
We’ve got 3 big players, if anything we’re a bit short on height. 2 centre halves and Smith upfront. Other than that Kizzi only physicality. Our line up fitness permitting will include Beautyman, Coley, Gape all small. Potentially Jackson too who is also a little un. Our keeper on small side for...
Think ours very skewed here by 4 loan players, stats would read better without them or averaging them out to squad level. I can’t see us being anywhere near as high as that. Last accounts I have before they stopped sending them (18/19) our playing/management spend was circa £700k! Fair to say...
Not a bad draw that. Home is good given our away record. Ours has an outside chance of tv whether Barnsley or Horsham. They love a bit of Sutton history so could set us up as the underdog vs Barnsley, or as cannon fodder bottom of the table rubbish for Horsham glory.
Colchester lose.
Tranmere win.
Grimsby draw.
Crewe draw.
If we can win 2 of the 4 at least gets us moving and gives us a touch of hope. On paper our best set of fixtures in a while but likely 3 with new or newish managers so their performances can change quickly. Performances improving but home...
Think you look really short upfront. I know Young got on a streak early doors but I’ve not been impressed and Austin doesn’t really cut it anymore. No one was ever going to win a clean header on a ball coming into the box (guess one did eventually fall for Young), zero physical presence versus...
Not sure where that came from tbh. Seems a silly number for a Tuesday 4 hours away when we’ve not won a point away in months and been on the end of some proper hammerings. Must have been a few who booked a LONG time ago!!
If ever there is anything you can take for granted it’s that you will win easily and score at least 3 goals. In answer to our travelling you’d be lucky to see 50.
