Was surprised to see that Preston are the biggest club never to have been in the PL. Not sure if I was surprised because I thought they had been or because they were the biggest club not to have been. Kinda both, I guess. Then Bristol City and Plymouth. After that it's clubs like Luton...
So you keep saying. You're a desperate lot these days.
Interesting when the positions of our respective clubs are reversed how the banter plays out. Go back three seasons and look at some of the threads then..... If you look through the threads of Wolves fans now, you don't really see smug...
He and Dominic Iorfa were highly rated two to three seasons ago, under Kenny Jackett, but their careers stalled after he left. I was surprised Jackett didn't come back for one of them but - either way - they probably stayed at Molineux for the cash.
Both players are 23 now and you feel that if...
Only half way but interesting how relatively highly most people (all bar one) positioned Fulham. And how lowly many rated Watford (and to an extent) Cardiff.
Must admit I always liked him and thought he would go on to other PL clubs..... but I'd be mad as hell if he rocked up at a former club after playing in that kind of defeat. Just seems very bad timing.
I suspected as much. Actually I'd be pretty pissed off if one of the team was showing up at a former club (and local radio station) for a chat, days after a humiliating cup defeat. And to be fair, we do humiliating defeats quite regularly.
Would be funny if any Blades phoned in to wind him up :bg:
No we don't. Robin Never, William Brolly, Ivor Cavalry, David Jorton, Robert Vinager, Rupert Patrick and Adam Trouter, John Mutton and Ronan Sass, all British. And Helder Costa is named after the high street brand, Greggs. The only non-English speaker in our squad is Conor Coady.
Just wanted to say how impressed I've been with Spurs. Scored 11 goals in two games..then suddenly they have a poor 20 minute spell and everyone's ridiculing them?
It's good to see them do well after all these years in the shadows of their incredibly quiet neighbours.
Good luck to Spurs. Good...
I'm also surprised there's been no mention of how similar Kane's goal against Cardiff was to Raul's opener for us.... little backlift, slotted through players, not much power but accurate.
