After an interesting question on a thread in another sub-forum.....
Why do you support who you support?
For me, I was born near Wolverhampton and then spent the next three years living in Newhampton Road just a few hundred yards from the Molineux. Of course the world was all black and white in...
I saw one guy in a City shirt 200m from Deepdale the opening day of the season a couple of years ago. He was jeered by a busload of Wolves fans on the way back to the station. On Spurs you seem to see far more Arsenal fans than Spurs around the country.
I hope Sam Ricketts does well at Wrexham. He was extremely popular at Wolves, on and off the pitch. He was one of the key players - and captain for much of the season - when our renaissance started in League 1 after we had been in freefall. I reckon he'll do well in management.
It surprises me that Man City isn't much 'lower' these days. But also that Spurs aren't much 'higher'.
Would be intriguing to see the table for the Championship. I'd guess that Leeds would be at the bottom of the table, then probably Fulham, the two Sheffield clubs, Forest, Derby and us. Maybe...
I work half way up a mountain in a rainforest, so I'll be doing not much more than work - other than get very wet.
I'm not really into cricket as I don't know much about sandpaper. Hate F1 despite once working in it for a few years.
Ashton Gate has been rebuilt so haven't got the webcam to...
You think anyone outside a Swansea or Bristol postcode gives enough of a fuck to bother to hate you? Aww bless.
(Although from what I've read from other Cardiff supporters on this forum, half your own fucking fans hate the club too.)
I think I'd also be surprised but it's not a ridiculous statement to make.
Wolves came second in the first division that season (and beat Grimsby 5-0, just saying - with Gary Breen scoring twice) and it was a particularly strong side. Wolves were strong favourites in both the semi-final and the...
A really inconsequential point, but am I the only one who was surprised Wednesday were allowed to play in that kit against Wolves? Their pizza-base coloured shorts weren't a million shades away from our deeply burnished, royal golden hue of warm sunsets and perfectly-crafted genuinely rustic...
With a bit of luck, and if the Cardiff Primark is being refurbished this coming week, you might even break through the 15,000 mark.
Out of interest, if you do come second and then become all big-headed and full of arrogant shit, how will we know?
