    Stickied League 1 Transfer Rumours/Confirmed Transfers 2024/25

Probably more demonstrates the dearth of available strikers unless willing to take a punt on an unproven player at this level. Which we have already done with Mark Harris (his strike rate previously wasn't great but he did play as a wide forward as well).

The ones that have a good chance of being called up for us (assuming the respective countries/age groups have a game): James Beadle Ciaron Brown Mark Harris Fin Stevens (Welsh U21 Vice Captain I think) Stephan Negru (Ireland or Moldova will be looking to try to call him up now) I'd assume the...

A fair few would have come through via their Academy I think, but could be wrong.

    Stickied League 1 Transfer Rumours/Confirmed Transfers 2024/25

Claims on our forum that he was at our training ground yesterday with his agent. Haven't a clue if true or not. Hopefully you get the Brandon Williams signing done soon if that is the hold up. It would be a pleasant novelty for us to have 2 right backs and 2 left backs at the same time.

Is the contract with Buckingham's binding or can the club move on to another?

Reminded by seeing it in the highlights but where are Northampton at in finishing that stand?

As the Reading fans on their forum seem all in favour when it was announced, then I think the Reading price should be applied to away seats at wherever they are playing. Rules would stop this no doubt but it's fair enough as the Reading fans appear in favour for the cost to apply to other fans.

Especially with clubs chasing what appears a small pool of options.

Temper, temper. 1-0 isn't marginal/fine margins if your team can't hit a cow's arse with a banjo. And it isn't hypothetical, you couldn't hit a cow's arse with a banjo as the match stats demonstrate. Where did I mention the word 'fact'? You seem to be making stuff up now.

I understand your definition of 'fine margins', it involves your players literally not threatening the opposition goal and losing.

    The fixture list is ridiculous.

Was Guy's shot your best one that was comfortably wide to the point our keeper withdrew his hands? 7 shots, none particularly near the goal and being toothless isn't fine margins. Using your logic our defeat vs Cambridge was fine margins (clue here it wasn't) or it was fine margins for Bolton...

And I never said 'one sided mauling', I said 'very comfortable' which is different. You didn't look like scoring if you played through to the next day. You raised 'fine margins' and there weren't any of those for yourselves in that game.

We ran through your defence plenty of times, just bad choices at the end. Off the top of my head, Harris (twice), Rodrigues, Browne, Mills and Sam Long all passing when they should have shot. Harris acknowledged his 2 in his interview saying he needs to be selfish. It wasn't fine margins when...

What were the fine margins at our game last week? If we'd brought our shooting boots then it would have been very comfortable for us.

Likewise, we were there a lot around late 80s to mid 90s, mostly defeats.:(
