Yeah, it was bound to be someone like her or Yvette. Wonder if Yvette's argument with Lady C made her appear ever so slightly more interesting than Susannah, hence she stayed.
I see the logic behind moving Willey to open, but he hasn't looked too convincing in international T20 with the bat this far. Is he up to the standard of opening in international cricket?
And come to think of it, I think I'd rather ditch Hales than Roy in this format. Roy might not always come...
I'm just catching up on the last few nights' episodes. Why were they so offended when Tony and Jorgie wouldn't be their servants? Lady C is ridiculous. I find it amusing to watch, but it would be a nightmare if I was in there with them. Keiron Dyer is a bit of a prick as well.
I read on another forum about a guy who was managing in the Russian second tier, and he mentioned something about wage restrictions. I can't find his post now, but I'm fairly certain he mentioned there being certain restrictions in place, but then if you get promoted the restrictions are...
It depends a lot on the situation really. If Buttler comes in with 300 already on the board then he might well feel he can open up and play a bit more freely. But if he comes in mid way through a classic middle order collapse [which is all too common] he'd be crucified if he got out attempting...
Does today's innings from Buttler have any impact on his potential selection for the first test in SA? I really want him to be a success in test cricket, but I don't think innings like we saw today give much of an indication as to how he will perform in tests.
It's obviously great to see him...
Whilst Selina is certainly annoying, I thought it was a bit rich for Vana to criticise her for having a paddy about individual sales when Vana was moaning about it earlier in the day.
I've just had a player be turned down for a work permit three years after I signed him. I got a message saying he would be turned down for a work permit after his current contract expires because he hasn't played enough international matches. Is this a new feature or have I just never come...
Managed to turn my fortunes around, eventually finishing the season one point off Champions League qualification. Pretty disappointed considering in my final away game I was 1-0 up at Derby with 88 minutes gone, and I ended up losing 2-1. Ah well, still an improvement. Definitely looking to...
That's true, but people like Ian Bell have been kept around for a substantial amount of time without really contributing big scores. The same with Ben Stokes - after his first century in Australia, he went through a pretty rough patch of form that lasted quite a while. In terms of performances...
I definitely agree he needs to be in the team. After the big 4 (Cook, Root, Jimmy, Broad) he's the next name on the team sheet for me.
I hope we are patient with him. Even if he has a bad series in SA, we need to stick with him. Fortunately it seems harder to get out of the England team than...
Where does Taylor bat for Notts? I'm a big fan of his, and definitely think he should be included, but is he a number 3? I'm genuinely not sure, and my only real experience of seeing him bat has been at 5 in the ODIs.
We've performed way beyond my expectations so far. Not sure if we'll keep it up all season, but with Vokes and Gray looking good together we're in with a chance.
Setting my full backs to 'defend' rather than 'support' away from home seems to have halted the rot.
Going out of the Europa League also means by best team aren't shattered for every league fixture.
Right, I'm having an absolute mare.
Is anyone else playing touch? I like that it's more streamlined than the main game, but I've noticed a pretty significant problem with it. The morale of the team affects performances just as much as it does in the full version, except in touch there's no way...
