We have the toxic combination of players woefully out of their depth or simply can’t be bothered to even do the basics anymore. We have simply given up the ghost. Hundred goals conceded now just a given. What’s the record?
We are allowed 800 odd for last game with fans in. With some extra capacity addded was hoping that we would get to four figures but heard today that our match v Solihull would be limited to season ticket holders only, so around 500.
I am surprised they even appointed anyone until the summer in any of the roles, but equally, I have heard that Gary Anderson only agreed to look after the team for one game and is fed up with it, as he isn’t a football manager. He was UK bobsleigh coach though.
Strange re Dave Anderson as he...
Can’t agree more. As much as the situation over the stadium rankles, and most of that is to do with Harrow Council, I am very happy not playing in HA8. There is zero interest in lower league/non league football in that area.
Jack, in his time at Chelsea was the better player than Harry, though H did have a bad injury which meant he missed nearly two seasons. He was released at the end of his recovery and his parents threw their toys out of their pram and took Jack out as well.
i think the parents had a bad rep...
Harry Taylor has played at the Vale before just on the pitches outside. One summer we played a Chelsea Academy team , mainly U10 players, in a tournament at Wealdstone for an U11 tournament. Harry, Chelsea U11, and his brother Jack, who was a Chelsea U10, played in a side that my son had...
I couldn’t believe how woeful they were. At 2-1 , our debutant 18 yo goalkeeper pulled off a crucial save and after that, Barnet just gave up.
We even brought on a 16 yo for his debut.
Disagree. We are basically a fans owned club and we see our financial accounts. None of the previous statements for our budget have been out of kilter with what was declared on the financial statements.
We have at least nine players out on furlough, others have joined and playing for expenses...
As our assistant manager stated on the post match interview yesterday, we are now operating on 40% of our previous budget, which in itself isn’t anywhere near enough for this league.
We have capitulated again. Even the small morsel of beating Barnet on Monday will be a forlorn and distant hope. Even they will score three or four against us.
But financially they are miles better off. A fine of 40k when to play out the season would have been multiple six figure sums. Even the points deduction isn’t a disaster as there finances haven’t been shredded. They could, with a half decent season, pull that back.
Not sure that’s entirely true. He was at Hemel for 8 years. If you see what Hemel fans wrote about him, he’d taken them as far as he could.
At Kingstonian the story is that his son was involved in a road accident and he took time away to be with his family. Billericay was just a shit show. The...
