Yeah! great result for us against moneybags Margate! To be fair, they were the better side in the first half, but we tore them to shreds when Sweeney and Murrell-Williamson came off the bench in the second half. A decent away draw at Bury in the next round. Very winnable, but potentially tricky.
Bognor 2 - Dulwich 3
An excellent game by all accounts and a great win for the Hamlet against a very good Bognor side. Good to see we've broken our run of poor results against them. 7 wins on the bounce for us now.
Wow! I never knew they could deduct goals as well as award them! Maybe we'll see a team scoring minus goals at some point too; like Kingstonian 8, VCD -4
I agree! I think he's a great signing for us! Callum Willock has left the club to make way for Moss which is a shame as he's very decent player and scored 7 in 19 games for us. But, I think Moss really is a top-notch striker at this level; the one thing we've been missing the last couple of...
Another good win today and astounding crowd of over 1,400! It's hard to believe what's gong on at Dulwich. I didn't manage to get to the game, but from reports we were excellent again and should have scored many more.
Thought some of you might find this Guardian article interesting/amusing...
Murrell-Williiamson may well have been ineffective at H&Y, but I suspect that was nothing to do with his ability! Fraser Shaw was ineffective at Billericay, but after 1/2 season at Dulwich he's the regular left back at Leyton Orient!
For you K's fans (since i read on your forum that someone's asking!!) we released Dean Lodge in September due to his work commitments, so I assume he's too busy for footy at the moment! Fortunately, Clunis is just back from a lengthy injury and Rhys Murrell-Williamson is terrifying all and...
According to this article, http://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2015/11/03/football-league-interest-mounting-in-prolific-dulwich-hamlet-mid/ up to a dozen league clubs from championship down to league 2 are interested in signing Sweeney. He's certainly added balance to our midfield and he is a very good...
Dan Sweeey's a great signing for us and he's presence has really freed up Waldren and Carew in midfield in the last few games. He's also scoed 3 in 3 which isn't bad either! I'm not at all surprised he's come to Dulwich above a Conference South side side as we have better support than all but 2...
I'm not at all surprised that Tonbridge are doing well; I tipped them and Grays as dark horses at the start of the season and I expect both to be there or thereabouts at the end of the season. Having played pretty poorly for the first dozen games this season, we're now starting to look very...
Blast! You caught me being hypocritical again! Seriously though, I think there were 10 bookings and 2 sending offs in the game, and the only challenge that really deserved a card was the incident with the keeper and he should definitely have been sent off rather than getting a yellow. Beware of...
Dulwich 1 Grays 1
Another disappointing display from Dulwich and an absolutely shameful performance form the ref, Mr. O'Brien. Loads of yellow cards and 2 red cards in a game that wasn't particularly dirty and some extremely bemusing decisions from said Mr. OBrien! Danny Waldren got himself sent...
Hmm…a rather inauspicious start from K's!
Meanwhile…
Dulwich old boys (aka Merstham) 0 - Dulwich 2
A hard fought game won by goals from Willock and Scannell. Phil Wilson made 3 great saves and gets my vote as MOM. Merstham are physical and tough and a half-decent side; I don't see them going...
Dulwich 3 - Canvey 0
An excellent performance today from Dulwich. A pretty even first 30 minutes with both sides playing good football and chances at both ends but only one goal. Dulwich then got on top and in the second half we really should have scored couple more. A very encouraging start...
Premier Division odds make Dulwich, Hendon and Staines favourites at 6/1. I'm not sure Hendon will over perform again this season and I don't really fancy them. Grays at 16/1 and Enfield at 20/1 look a decent each way bet and you can never rule out Kingstonian (16/1) either. Bognor ant 40/1 and...
I'd expect you to be firm favourites for D1N with Purcell and Knight up front. I'm not sure that playing in front of less than 100 fans nearly every game will be much fun though! I've never understood why the crowds are so much smaller in D1N than in D1S. Goopd luck for the season ahead!
