Dulwich 2 - Charlton X1 3
Another good performance by Dulwich against a Charlton side which included nearly half it's first team. This followed an excellent 2-1 victory against the Dagenham and Redbridge first team. I have to say we look very good all over the pitch at the moment and I can't...
So... these are our confirmed new signings and outgoings:
Danny Waldren (Bromley) - looks an excellent player and will add a bit of grit to our midfield.
Steve Sutherland (Met. Police) -Didn't play last night but an excellent addition in my view.
Jacob Erskine (Maidenhead) - had a good run-out...
Dulwich 2 - Peterborough United 3
An excellent game of footy at the Hamlet last night against the Posh first team. In the first half we looked the better side and played some lovely football despite missing several players who will probably be regular starters. Second half, the younger players...
Dean was injured for much of last season, but he's a good winger and a valuable squad member. I'm not sure how many starts he'll get with Clunis and Jarrett; we'll have to wait and see! We're fortunate to be blessed with very good wide players.
Forbes was a massive help for young Ethan Pinnock at the start of last season, but having lost his place to Matt Drage, it seems a sensible move for Forbes as I think Pinnock and Drage are a very strong pairing. Xavier Vidal will be big loss for Dulwich and we now even more desperately need a...
We've got some interesting home friendlies organised already against Peterborough (as part of the Erhun deal), Dagenham and Redbridge and Charlton.
Frazer Shaw has earned a call up to the England C squad for their forthcoming match against Ireland U21's. Well done Frazer!
Yeah, I think Harry's not been a sharp as I'd have liked, but I still rate him up front. We really do need someone to score 20+ goals for us. I think our biggest problem is getting quality final balls in the box. We have great wingers but final ball has to be better! Carew does look good...
Well, I'm not sure the BEST two teams went through, but it's certainly true that the two highest place teams won, so I suppose that's some sort of justice. However, it seems we were were the better side against Margate last night and rather unlucky to boot - including one shot that hit both...
Oh my word! What an utter shambles this play-off thing is! A good job Turvey is standing down at the end of the season (whenever that may be!). I just don't understand why the Ryman League had to dock Enfield 3 points when the FA had only issued a warning. Now the FA can overturn that decision...
why do all the good forum posters go get themselves promoted? First we lost Aber, now the Maidstone gang. Dulwich will probably go up in the play offs so that's PinknBlue gone too... The Hornchurch lot are going out the other way...
Looks like it's just me & PP representing the Isthmian Premier...
I have to disagree with you Jim Bob! Our form was terrible (3 points in 8 matches), but we've won one and drawn 3 of our last four which includes beating Enfield (currently a play-off team) and draws with Hendon, Maidstone and today at Tonbridge. We've probably been the better side in the 3...
Hmmm... interesting stuff from our point of view about Enfield's potential 3 point deduction. Still we really need to win at Tonbridge Angels today to secure 4th place and an away tie at Margate in the play-off semi's. I'm delighted that we've picked up our form enough to make a mini recovery...
