Looked up the rules and it turns out the ref was correct on action regarding the first penalty if it was dummied, because it went in. However, I've rewatched it and Zavon doesn't dummy, he freeze frames before kicking the ball, but doesn't actually make any kicking action until he actually kicks...

According to this ref if you dummy a penalty the goal doesn't count, opposition gets a free kick and you get a yellow. Not even a retake.
