I did suggest quite strongly to you guys (might have been the other Wrexham supporters) when you signed him that he was crap. Won't get any better either.
Heard the classified scores on BBC 5Live on the way back from the game on Saturday "Tranmere 1, Eastleigh 1".
Wonder how bookies are dealing with this when people cash out.
We are slowly getting there. Moved the ball faster than Tuesday but Gateahead just parked the bus for long stretches. We had so much possession and moved and passed better but still yet to see our forwards link up well with midfield, so there is much still to improve. We had quite a few half...
What is your problem with JaredSUFC and I debating a disputed and significant point in the game?
Surely that's what the forum is for, not just here for the sake of dicks making bullish predictions and slagging each other off.
I agree that our players committed quite a few fouls as well, but none we're of the "I'll kick your players out of the game variety", more "oh shit I've given the ball away but I'm a fancy boy who can't tackle properly so will mis-time this tackle and trip you up, or clip your heals cynically"...
Not sure what to expect tomorrow. Hoping we finally click but not confident.
Going for an unconvincing 2-1 win (surely got to win soon) with our third different formation in three games.
I couldn't believe how fat some of your players were (well I could believe Jamie Collins was fat). Which makes it even worse that we couldn't beat you on home turf.
Start of the season I would have settled for a draw after last season's 1-0 loss despite one of our most dominant displays of the...
Well there were some good signs on Tuesday.
Our defence looked better with a back four. KMB still needs match fitness but showed some good signs, Tubbs movement is a cut above (even if a couple of admittedly very tough chances went astray).
But we won't win this league with three attacking...
What formation do you guys play? If your management learnt anything from our game at Boreham Wood it's this - play 4-3-3 and make sure you have two pacey wingers with chalk on their boots. Leaves us so open at the back.
Expecting a reaction though - Matt Tubbs, Fabien Robert and Keanu...
To be fair they looked a good combination in preseason. Doidge won everything in the air and Murphy's movement was excellent to get on the end of his flick-ons and the balls from midfield.
But it's amazing what a bit a pressure in a competitive game does (and by pressure I don't mean opposition...
We've got one annoying fan, who happens to post on this forum, whom you all egg on - it's like picking on a kid with special needs.
We've got four senior strikers, same as Lincoln, and not sure many clubs we're banging down Murphy or Tubbs door (not after his exploits at Eastleigh last season)...
Yeah we got worked out pretty early, Boreham Wood just sat their striker on Bennett in the middle of our back three and put pressure on us all over the park and we couldn't create anything. Also like last season at Woking, Andrade tore us a new one. We were so open at the back a times.
Must say...
Not much quality on show at Maidstone apart from Greenhalgh.
And whoever did Yorks numbers - wonky, different heights on their backs, peeling off.
Edit: One thing we don't want peeling off is Brodie's shirt. Looks like a bag of spuds shoved down there.
