I'd say it's just about beyond us now. The game on Saturday was poor from both sides. We created slightly more, but Gateshead came for a point and we didn't play to our potential at all.
The ref tried his best, but couldn't get Wrexham over the line. The worst officiating I've seen at Hayes Lane since the Braintree game last season.
Edit: I've looked up the ref and he is the same one as the Braintree game last season. David Rock is a **** of epic proportions, the non league...
Last night was one trip to the north east too many, considering we have played there so much recently. It would be a shame if the focus on our cup run means that we tail off at the end of the season. I hope Sutton do go up, they'll have to lay grass again, but it would continue to stir the...
We played a weakened team last night, which I didn't agree with, in preparation for the FA Trophy game against Gateshead at the weekend. We can't win every game 6-1 unfortunately.
A bizarre game today, we didn't start playing until about 30 minutes in and got a generous penalty in the process, although I can see why it was given.
Then we dominated the second half and could have won the game 5-2, but I would have taken a one goal lead at 4pm. Their defence had no answer...
Part of me wants it to be postponed again, so we can play the replay at home. :bg:
Hopefully though, we can get the win and get on with playing every midweek for the rest of the season. Luckily, we won't be left with any Saturday, Monday, Wednesday, Saturday weeks yet.
Spennymoor vs Bromley moved to Darlington on Wednesday night. If this gets postponed, then it will be played back at Bromley on Saturday with the semi-final delayed.

It really is appalling, no consideration for the fans or staff from Bromley. If it gets delayed until Wednesday and we win, we'll have no time to prepare for the semi first leg against Gateshead at home and we also now have two postponed league games to rearrange.
This debacle is the perfect...
Completely agree. Spennymoor still haven't apologised, the communication is shocking. We could actually appeal to the FA at this stage if we wished to do so.
