It gets worse. One of Havant's media team was allegedly offered a seat that was a little damp from previous rain. Someone on a 'banter'(!) page said they had never been treated so badly. I fear this one will run and run.
Serious grudges between Maidstone and Havant directors. In revenge for our owners being refused entry to their executive area without a tie, theirs were refused admission to ours on Saturday if they were wearing one. So a Havant official put his tie around his forehead. We're both so non league.
Think you're right. A Wembley cup final day out would be very attractive to occasional and curious fans. We could probably bring 20,000+.
Think Gills did double that for a play off that mattered. One woman I worked with went for her one and only ever game. I don't have a problem with people who...
You could use their toilets and walk round past the away end which had nothing going on underneath it. Would like to see it happen more for low risk games. If we do go down it will make sense.
No segregation, so maybe it's true what some said that two were Maidstone fans. Salford forum said one woman called Wendy went, heard up to sixteen but didn't see them. Did see one young chap with two phones and a thermos sat in the main stand who looked suspiciously Mancunian.
Keep an eye on Dover after a couple of defeats with players rejected by Maidstone. Don't know how many of those are playing though. Would be a shame to lose two Kent clubs.
Wouldn't argue with that. We needed to move away from that unhappy period and reinvent the club. Our main problem is one of checking unrealistic expectations following several promotions.
