Would be ace. It'd be a Martinez team, pumped on steroids, and without statements like ''Gareth Barry makes Pirlo look one footed'', ''We only lost 4-0 because the referee got a call wrong for a throw-in after 3 minutes'' and ''I voted for Tom Cleverly in the London Elections''.
Yeah there's some definite overlap at the edges of East Anglia, always thought Luton/MK Dons/Northampton are were plenty far enough outside East Anglia to be in other regions completely. Doesn't matter if they were mind, it's only Norwich or Ipswich that get more than their score read out.
It fluctuates. Cambridge Evening News generally give us decent coverage now but they didn't for a long long time. Particularly around the time Histon were on the rise, as there were some 'connections' to the directors there, we got completely panned for a few seasons.
Otherwise, BBC Cambs...
It should be noted that I say this having not actually visited Ashton Gate in person. I like the rebuild from all seen, but it'd be a shame to dilute the character too much. Especially as it would invite comparison to your Welsh cousins!
Steve Fletcher at Liverpool?! Haha how is he even at Marseille?!
What truth? Thr truth that real issue was all the bickering parties (not West Ham) who were too shortsighted to take a leaf out of Manchester's book? Or those who rejected West Ham's bid to buy the stadium?
Or maybe the truth...
Do you reckon that'll remain the case if the eco park goes ahead, and you're sharing divisons for a few years?
The proposed site is a lot closer to Cheltenham's "turf" and Gloucester show few signs of life at the moment.
Donny all over them at the moment too. Don't blow it Burton!
Also looks like their entire fanbase is there, not far i suppose but looks impressive on TV though!
I nominate anything along these lines as the next "well that's going to be really boring to keep hearing for the next decade"" type statement. It already rather is.
Especially if the away kits are A) something to be ashamed of like lurid green B) So bland that when it's not your team, you forget who is playing halfway through the highlights C) Not dissimilar enough from the home kit D) just a reverse.
It's probably worth noting that, after a cursory glance at the Non-League forum, Forest Green supporters appear to be both prevelent, outspoken and composed of an idiosyncratic mess of values and shoulder based potato products.
Anyway, in terms of competition at the top next year, Grimsby don't...
