having clocked up the best part of 7000 miles this season, i wouldn't be too unhappy with a few from up your way going down. especiallly looking forward to yours on a tuesday night if you beat dulwich, between trips to gateshead and wrexham. anyway, tomorrow could see us 9 points clear of the...
jay saunders just signs another years' deal with us. thought i'd let everyone in the relegation thread know, as we'll be leaving said thread in the next couple of weeks, and i doubt if we'll ever be back. has anyone started next seasons title contenders thread yet?
knew it was going to be a tough game for us, and it turned out that way too. still we put a shift in in the first half and looked quite good, and were maybe a little unlucky to go in at HT a goal down. second half we seemed to lose our way, and barrow took full advantage. they're a good side IMO...
not sure about that, one of our owners said in an interview that it could be the next step for us, possibly next season. guess we'll have to wait and see about that. would mean a bit of a clear out of our squad, as most of the lads we have now wouldn't want full time football.
sounds like he may be just what we need. possibly in the side for tomorrows' match at home to guisely. and as far as 'a' goes, he can't be after the money coming to us, we can't afford to pay big money at Maidstone either.
everyone down here is looking forward to your visit too. the cup match up at yours a couple of seasons back is still talked of frequently. how many do you think you'll bring? the terrace that's been set aside for you holds around 500, plus you'll get some seats. should be a good match, though...
just thought i'd post here about the trip to borehamwood on monday, especially after the bad press they've been getting recently. on the way up there i had it in mind what a crap club they were going to be, and not expecting much of an awayday after everything i'd been reading about them...
so it seems :doh: moving swiftly on, is there a live match tomorrow as i can't find the list of them they made, and it seems the list i made has some minor errors.
any chester fans know if your clubhouse will be showing the dag and red vs wrexham match on bt tomorrow lunchtime? or if not are there any pubs nearby that will be? also, is that big car park i see around your ground on google maps open for away fans?
this is exactly what i was thinking, and where i can imagine some real problems arising. we all know that the refereeing at this level can sometimes leave a lot to be desired, it just seems a worry how this is going to be put into action. strormy times ahead possibly?
i see the fa and all are to implement some new rules regarding player conduct and referees;
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/36844570
not before time in my opinion, but how's it going to work? i can see a lot of appeals coming up as it may be the case that refs start throwing reds about like...
indeed, it seems chelmsfords' new set up have a few quid to throw around, and laslett leaving margate doesn't seem to have curtailed their spending much either. not too sure about chelmsford, but margate look like they've put a strong team together. as you say though, very big squads, which...
oh well, i'd have thought more but i guess if it's live on tv that must have an effect. still 3 - 400 is still a good turnout . be nice to see some big turnouts of away fans on a regular basis. apart from fleet, margate and dartford we'd only normally get around 40 or 50 at best. bit gutted you...
our lot only got to go there twice :dry: lucky hayes didn't get top their new ground or it would only have been the once:bg:
anyway, good luck with dartford, be nice to see you get a result at the gate too. if we hold our own in this league i'm hoping you lot come and join us. i'll keep my...
