iFollow is a weird one. I'm local but have had a tight budget this year so it's an alternative for me when I could normally only afford to see one maybe two home games a month. Having said that if the option wasn't there at all, I'd be fine with it, but it turns the odd game that would normally...
Yeah he had some unreal spells of form in the conference, the Trophy run in 12/13 springs to mind when he made a world class save in the semis against Dartford before his man of the match performance in the final. Considering we are only half way through the season though, I'd say he's already...
I wouldn't say McKeown is the best keeper in this league but he is having the best season of his entire career. He alone has won us a staggering amount of points this season and beforehand played a major part in keeping us up. In terms of playing at the highest possible level, there are likely...
Wait, are you saying the player who won our penalty was offside? Because he certainly wasn't. From what I can tell the referee got the majority of the key decisions correct which is bloody good going at this level. I'm with you on bemoaning the absolute crap standard in officiating in this...
Probably because there's more use in dogshit than the linesmen in this league and he needed to be reminded of the offside rule. The player that scored was practically behind the goal when the ball was played. There's not even an argument to be had. The fact he didn't flag immediately was frankly...
It's not like the offside was a close call, it was absolutely blatant. We'd have been robbed if that was given. Not to say that we've been as clean as a whistle this season, we've been more fortunate with decisions than usual. But today was one of those days where we defended like our lives...
When you look at the circumstances we were under today, that is nothing short of an amazing result. Another world class save by Mckeown last minute apparently. Get the fuck in.
I will be fucking delighted if we win this. We couldn't have much more of a makeshift defence. Considering the points we've managed to get recently I considered this game a free pass but if we come home with a point or three, well I'll actually start to dream a bit.
Cracking win for us, another goal for Thomas who is in fine form and we held on with a makeshift back four. In a comfortable position in the table now just before the window so we can start looking up rather than down. Our squad is a little too bare to seriously challenge the playoffs but...
If you were a neutral you wouldn't believe it was a League 2 game today. Largely poor and the fact we've ended up scoring 4 should be severe alarm bells for County. They reminded me a lot of Chesterfield last season. Thankfully they've got time and a window to put it right but they looked like...
Another great home win. Swindon were the better side in possession but in truth it wasn't a great game in terms of quality overall. Both keepers made some good saves against strong wind. Once Embleton grew into the game second half, it was his show as is usually the case.
Not the best half by us but we've defended okay against a Swindon side with obvious bits of quality. Could go either way but we need to step it up a gear or two.
Our home form is good and we're starting to put out performances that are better than our standing on a consistent level. We'll have slip ups like Saturday just gone but I'm now confident we can take on most teams and start climbing up the table. Swindon are on a good little run in the league...
We have battered Cheltenham all half after we switched to a flat 5 midfield. Their best player on the right hadn't had a sniff as a result thanks to Pringle covering him. Jolley changed it late and brought Pringle off and the man instantly finds himself in acres of space and gets them a penalty...
We started very well but struggled to find anything clear cut before they went up and scored from a deflection. We changed our system but have been very poor since the goal and Cheltenham deserve the lead over the half. Would be disappointing to lose this one after our recent improvement but we...
Comfortable in the end and we became the wasteful side. We've not had a good draw for a while so maybe it's time, but I'm not sure Fenty is that lucky.
