Another week, more dropped points and another injury. Watford were right there for the taking today, but we’re utterly diabolical in front of goal. Can’t really blame the management team as I don’t think any team in our position would be able to cope with their two best forwards picking up long...
We're in big, big trouble. Next 7 games are Watford (h), Cardiff (a), Norwich (h), Swansea (a), Brentford (h), Blackburn (a) and Middlesbrough (h) and we're only points off the drop having played 3 more than Rotherham and 1 more than Derby and Wednesday. Don't see where the next 3 points comes from.
Great win for us today although marred by Dabo's injury. We're now without 5 of our strongest starting XI, which would be 6 if Marosi hadn't just come back a two month long injury. Luck with injuries this season has been horrendous.
Utter, utter shit from us. Huge week coming up next week as play Sheff Weds, Birmingham and Forest, all at home, in 7 days. We need to get at least 4 points else we’re in big trouble given the February we have coming up.
Where is the Hamer link from? We've only heard Rangers are taking a look at him at our end. I can't see him staying past the summer but hopefully we get a good fee for him. Left back business is odd as well, you lot must really not rate McCallum.
As for us, we've just signed Viktor Gyökeres on...
We signed Matty James on loan at the end of last week, sounds like he's here with a view to make it permanent in the summer should he be able to stay fit/we stay up. Pretty happy with that one, he's a decent player.
We're in desperate need of a striker right now though. Walker is out until the...
Millwall potentially the worst side I've seen all season, although admittedly coming off the back off a Covid break. Not exaggerating when I say we could have easily won 4 or 5-0 today had we taken our chances, they were so ridiculously open and gave us so much time on the ball. Another pair of...
Hamer has been our best player this season, he’s a level above the rest of the side, Dabo aside. As for Dabo, he started the season injured and hasn’t really got going yet as our current style of play doesn’t really suit him. Last night was one of his best games so far alongside the Norwich game...
Do you have one of those as well? Wonder if it's the same Barnsley fan who lives on SkyBluesTalk and won't stop butting in on unrelated threads to tell everyone how fantastic Barnsley are.
Been all over Preston but we have the worst attack in the league so have created absolutely nothing of note. Preston will probably win this now we’ve gifted them the lead.
I know staying in the league is the most important thing but god are we horrible to watch. Home against Huddersfield and we played for the 0-0 from minute one, 9 men behind the ball and offered nothing on the counter. We’ll probably stay up playing like this as we’ve been able to nick the odd...
Great result for us today! We were probably rather fortunate to be playing Norwich with their current injuries, although say that we have had a fair few injuries ourselves.
Not a bad first 45 from us, Dabo is absolutely roasting Norwich's left hand side single-handedly.
As expecting we're offering very little in the box though.
He's more of a miss in that it means we're being forced to play a half-fit Dabo for the third time in a week as McCallum is our only fit player who can fill in at right back. In terms of being able to play him in his natural position it's a bit of a toss-up between him and Giles anyway as both...
