Doesn't look like he's particulatly stretching to me, just looks like he's never kicked with his left foot before. Like SoC, i'll reserve full judgement once i've seen the proper angle. Either way, if it's a bad pass by McAtee or it's Lenny out-Lennying himself, it's an absolute shocker.
We were a bit bob today but Yeovil mainly restricted to stuff from range. They press well. Very relieved to get the second but missed a gilt-edged chance before that. Looked a good finish from the other end.
Ahh the forum contrarian. You don't genuinely expect me to explain why it's surprising that a club with Yeovil's fanbase doesn't have an active forum? There's a few teams in this league that don't but with the excepton of Yeovil, the others are more towards the Dog & Duck end of the spectrum.
Do Yeovil have an active forum? Always like to get the lay of the land opposition-wise but I can't see that they have one. Strange for a club of their size.
Our team is full of kids anyway! Haha I don't see anyone suggesting playing kids, just bringing in the liles of Crocombe, Pearson, Longe-King, Coke, LJL. All very experienced pros and only being kept out the first XI because of how well they're playing. It's a long old season and no reserve...
That seems odd considering we'd sold 950 by yesterday morning and would have shifted a few more before the end. One of our Trust directors is quoted as saying there were 1100 there but there was some problem with the ticketing system? Who knows, keeps our current average effectively the same.
Gotta be happy with that first half. Sounded like we had at least 2 really good chancea to make it 2. Altrincham barely a sniff. But, we went 1-0 up in our previous two away games and came out of those with a solitary point, so will feel a massive sense of relief if we can get that second goal.
I've seen other people saying this but I can't see it would make that much difference, only in the journey time for the tanker once it's left the refinery, which is only going to be a matter of hours. The south east wouldn't be served from Killingholme I wouldn't have thought and I don't think...
I know they only averager1600-1700 home fans but that should equate to 100 away (give or take a few) for a Saturday 3pm. 29. And that's with the weather up here being hospitable. October-March it's Baltic. Guessing a fair chunk of their home support is floating Saints fans so doesn't translate...
Already posted but you'd only know if you knew we put the away figure in brackets after the full attendance. Pretty sure that's the lowest away turnout at a Saturday 3pm we've ever had.
