Franchise are trying to emulate us with manager turnover and making a graveyard for them Did us a lot of good. Ironic that the manager who all of them wanted rid of actually has us laying some decent stuff.
Even naughtier than Salford who I saw as a nasty team. A different ref might have given them 2 reds yesterday. Lund was going through the back of players and elbowing well before his yellow and the tackle that injured Critch should have been red. Horrible club, nasty team.
You've had loads of injuries but keep winning, Notts are supposedly playing poor but keep winning, Wimbledon have just conceded a goal so probably won't let another in for the next few games, Donny keep having purple patches, we keep winning at home so we'll see what the next week brings. Have...
Good post, all points to a final game of the season finish. Pundits seem to be saying that our upturn in form is down to us playing as a team now that we can't lump everything to Cook. Perhaps they should have a word with us before giving their expert opinion. Like others on here have said, it...
That makes good sense especially when you are running away with a division higher than your opponents and are at home. Pleased we were able to make a game of it especially as we were unable to field a striker. Thought you should have had a pen and hope Stansfield is ok. Not bothered who wins at...
That's what will take you up. We should have scored at your place after 2 mins. We didn't and never got another sniff. As far as performances are concerned, you'd take 16 lousy ones if you could win the remalnder.
What you say is right but with every team we will have games where decisions go for or agin us. They usually even up over the season. Enjoying our run but we have a tough run in, in April. Having said that, we need to make it just as tough for other teams.
Don't like calling refs but make a note of Andrew Humphries. You seriously do not want him. Even being unjustly down to 10 men, I feel that is 2 points lost. Not the ref's fault but our disallowed goal was very questionable and the blocking off of Mellor looked a reasonable pen shout.
That's a fair assessment. Like others, I don't think we have enough goals in us for top 3 and if Chezza go on a run they can easily make top 7 and likely to continue that run at Wembley. Losing Cook was a massive blow, tempered a bit by getting the excellent midfield pairing of Pattison and...
