Yes, it's exactly the same. Oldham were right in the middle of a promotion race at the time, or were they? No, they had nothing to play for. We won too.
For what it's worth, I can see why Cooper did it and it does seem a few were carrying 'knocks' so I held little hope of Swindon doing us any...
Wouldn't be devastated. Chances are we will win more than we lose next season if still in League One.
Especially given all the positive noises coming from the club at the minute.
I only see that result as a positive. Defensively it didn't get any worse (or better but ignore that), but attacking wise, 6 goals is a sizeable jump.
Would love to know how someone managed to score an own goal in 6 a side?
Bit disappointing.
Don't see the issue in resting players tonight, but Swindon's other three games could have ramifications on Promotion or Relegation. (Ok, maybe not Colchester)
If it was Robinson coming out with this before a trip to Preston with Swindon in 3rd, there would be Franchise...
Not really sure this qualifies as a preview really. More like a poor WSC rip-off.
Mind you, as soon as I saw this was a fanzine piece I would have laid my mortgage on what to expect. The salesman Campanile hotel comment was funny, so that's 1 point. I'll be generous and give another point for...
Probably tomorrow as Donny's away record is not to be sniffed at.
They also have the caveman Andy Butler at the back, who usually has a solid game at S:MK.
Still don't believe it. The Football League have something special planned for us, that probably involves Paul Tierney or Andy D'Urso.
Unless they pull Jon Moss out of the Premiership as the old master of Stitch-Up.
