Didn’t deserve to win that, we are so difficult to watch at present but a wins a win and hopefully we turn a corner performance wise now.

We are bloody awful to watch at present not sure what the result against Fleetwood will be but definitely need to get back to winning ways

Always liked Lapslie when he played for Mansfield and certainly the type of player we are missing shame we aren’t in for him

Pretty even first half but the second showed the difference, Walsall looked dangerous and were clinical and we looked like we didn’t have a clue

Definitely would prefer both Sharp and Ironside to start I just don’t think we have the right combination of players in midfield to make it work against a team like Walsall. I hope I’m completely wrong but I just haven’t seen us play well enough this season, we seem to be missing a spark.

I’m not being negative, just realistic. The way Walsall set up is exactly the style we struggle against. We beat Tranmere but you can’t say it was a good performance, passing was poor, decision making was poor and we are still wasting very good chances.
