Might as well get a thread going for this since it's potentially 9 months away. I decided to commit to a preview piece about England.
Hope it kills 5-10 minutes of your time.

Blimey. Must have been bad injuries to drop down here as he was a great talent. Thought he’d go the Nick Powell way and end up in the Championship at least. If injuries haven’t completely ruined him, that is some capture.
Aldershot have signed Chike Kandi. I found him to be a frustrating player. He doesn't have that striking instinct to be a 15-20 goal man. On the wing, he just runs when he has the ball but I think he's quite easy to defend against as it is literally kick and run. Scored 11 for us last season...
I don't think he's really had a proper go at this level to be fair rather than him failing. He had a bad injury when Ebbsfleet were first promoted and he never really had a run of games at Sutton. I'm happy with this.
Been very impressed with Maidenhead’s business. Parry, Blissett and Donnellan are an upgrade on some of the donkeys they’ve signed in recent time. All 3 will suit Dev’s football to a tee.
Sparkes is perfect for Maidenhead too. Can’t beat a man but can whip a ball. Perfect for set plays to the...
We’ve not actually got a bad squad. We were 4th last season after a fair few games until Taylor completely lost the plot and injuries took a hold. Also the failure to sign a striker capable of scoring was our main failure.
Balanta and Deering are good at this level whilst Brundle adds goals...
We've signed Paul McCallum. Dread to think how much money he is on but he has the sort of pedigree that we desperately need after Taylor stupidly signed Joe Quigley last summer.
Maybe....just maybe.....we can have a decent season.
I thought Jacob's post about Neal was about Neal Smith at first. I've got no idea how Bromley are bottling the top 7 in this awful league with that starting line up. They should be pushing for the title, let alone clinging on to top 10. He's very lucky to still have a job.
Relegation battle...
Hopefully but don’t want to rely on a formality just in case.
It wasn’t actually a bad game to be honest. Seen far worse this season although maybe that’s indicative of the league
Draw probably fair at Daggers. Both teams had good chances first half. 2nd half, I thought we were starting to edge it and Stockport looked like they were settling for a point and hoping to hit on the counter once they took off Bell. But then Weston got injured about 10 minutes after coming on...
