For the record, it really isn't me guv, I support Ireland.
If one accepts the arrogance narrative than at least say SOME English fans were arrogant. And if discussing the English media, at least refer to Rio and the Red Tops rather than the entire English media in general?
Excellent post.
"Three Lions" is the perfect example of the English sense of humour - self deprecating and filled with irony. I would have said "British sense of humour" but it doesn't appear as though thats the case judging by this thread.
Arrogance is something that could be thrown at...
No one really gets much of a chance to enjoy anything on this forum do they? I thought it was just the threads for the "big" club sides that get derailed.
I like to pop into this thread every few months and remind you how fascinating I find your approach to film watching. Pick a genre, watch everything in that genre and move on to the next genre. Maverick.
I was more excited about the Lallana transfer before he was a shit to Southampton. I lost a lot of love for him after that.
Much the same with VVD though I'll admit time (but mainly his performances) have healed those wounds.
I'm a fickle, fickle man.
Language isn't an issue for a goalie per say
Unless setting up a wall then fair play
He WAS shit at West Ham, not liked by the fans and I agree that Stoke would be ok
Though a nice lad he is, a good keeper he is not,
Remember Torino and West Ham? He couldn't save a shot.
He seems a really nice bloke and for that we should be fair,
But hes a shit goalkeeper and should stick to shampooing his hair.
