Connor Stevens has left Wealdstone to join Boreham Wood for an undisclosed fee. There had been rumours about this for a few weeks now and it's finally happened, shame as he's been largely injured for the past 18 months but the allure of FT football and possibly being in the Football League next...
Buying food at a football ground, the joke's on you. That's only acceptable if you've been on a session beforehand and haven't had a chance to eat yet.
We did sing for most of the 90 minutes so that always helps. I did enjoy the "You're not singing anymore" chant from some of the supporters in the Pontoon Stand after Efete put Grimsby 2-0 up only for us to start up again and keep on singing until the end of the match.
Highly doubtful, but...
First block of tickets (331) sold out for Barnet in just over 12 hours. Once they've sorted out their own HR problems internally, I'm imagining another block will be opened up for away supporters. I'll be getting mine nearer the time, numbers should be similar to the 700 or so Barnet brought here.
He'll be forced to sell the Dolphins, like Jerry Richardson was with the Panthers if this is found to be true. The allegations of Bill Belichick accidentally texting the wrong Brian and John Elway being hungover for Flores' interview in Denver both made me lol.
We’re so toothless up front, as soon as Efete scored to put Grimsby 2 up, that was game over.
Could see the lack of confidence in the Grimsby team as it was proper panic stations from them towards the end but they deserved the 3 points.
Cheers to the Grimsby lot who got back to me on here, much appreciated.
Enjoying the Fishy predictions of fuck all away support, including one thinking we’ll just take 21 tomorrow. Somebody tell them we’re not Boreham Wood ffs.
The Football Club should have just build Newlands Park and Power Court and put in retrospective planning permission, it's what everybody else in the town seems to do.
'Elsewhere it looks like routine wins for Grimsby and Wrexham...' - uhhh, we're going for the double. Really looking forward to Saturday, it's just a shame I'm driving as I'd have been all over the Docks Brewery in Grimsby if I'd got the train up. For the Mariners lot on here, any chippys and...
Naturally pessimistic supporter I am, there’s always a fear that Wealdstone will make things interesting. Who knows, maybe Eastleigh could get dragged into the mire?
Letting us have way more of the ball than I was expecting. Buse and Elito in the midfield seem to give us a bit more energy and drive which has been severely lacking.
Solidly mid-table in both, I'll take that. Both should increase over the next couple of away games with Grimsby away on Saturday and Barnet away on the 12th February.
