Whether we finish in the play offs or not, it's nice to hammer another nail into Maidstone's coffin.
Shit game in all fairness, but we did what we had to do. Pure scenes for that second goal.
Enjoyed having bottles and coins chucked at us!
Willis of Gillingham is already looking forward to it after the last time...
Sounded like we couldn't be bothered last night, even with a fairly strong side out with McDonald, Whitely, Weston and Rance all featuring. Backline made up of academy lads though, along with poor old Jon Miles in goal.
Not too bad that. Our figures this season have been fairly decent. Should remain similar as although we have Gateshead, Barrow and Harrogate to come, we also have Havant (Good Friday), Maidstone and Bromley (last game of the season). That Bromley game could see almost a thousand make the short...
You're welcome to enter Hartlepool there if you wish!
Couldn't make it today but yeah, sounds like a draw would have been fair. Still knocking on the door though, two home games on the bounce should hopefully see us break in.
I wouldn't say overrated as such, I think he was just a little out of his depth in the end. I think he jumped into a job like that too soon. He'll do well eventually, but it was too much too soon, IMO. Let his emotions get the better of him all too often.
I think we lost 6 of our first 8 at home under McMahon. The only home game we've lost under Hill was against Daggers in the Trophy.
We've got the squad to make the play offs there's no doubt about it, it's just staying away from injuries as you say. We've only got 17 on the books.
Got a lot...
Looked more than that to me. Given the away end supposedly holds 2,400, I would say you had closer to 2,000.
The rest of the ground was quite packed too, which makes the 3,020 crowd announced pretty laughable.
My guess is Ashmore was only voted MOTM due to recent situations. He made one top class save, we defended pretty well other than that.
4 games without a win against us now, can we play you every week? ;)
I'm pleased we (and the Police) have finally had some sense. If you bring 1,500 then it'll easily top 3,000. If we weren't doing so well under Hill, I'd fear for being outnumbered at home for the first time in my lifetime.
Fancy us to get a win here, we've had a bit of a break after the...
Who has appointed Harry Wheeler just a few months after sacking him for losing one game. Also brings back O'hara.
Didn't two players from you join them because they didn't get on with Wheeler?
Yeah, I briefly read the press release and noticed that. It seems they're confirming something racist was said, but I don't see how they can to be honest, unless somebody has admitted it.
