Absolutely no need to panic then you'd hope!
I know some clubs limit it to a certain section if you're not expecting to sell it all out so that was the question really. Basically just hoping that the next allocation isn't something silly like 100
What tends to be the max allocation at Walsall these days? We've sold out our initial allocation of 614 but myself and a number of others have had to wait for plans to firm up before getting tickets, so hoping for a decent number if we are forced to wait until Saturday.
I don't think he's actually shit, he's just somehow lost the ability to score goals. His work rate when on the pitch seemed good and he actually likes to move the ball forwards which often MW teams can lack.
We have Nemane on the right hand side who he’s come out and said he has a really good relationship with and a position we’ve been struggling with that he slots right into. Unlike Kelly, Crowley seems to have a head start already.
It's not oil money...
But the name I picked out was the name of the player we've just sold and were talking about. Seems very relevant to bring up the fact that we aren't just getting decent wedges for our flops, but our youth talent too.
In sort of transfer news though, Joe White is staying for the rest of the season after his recall window elapsed. That's fantastic news, he's been the main shining light in a period of poor form.
Wouldn’t say toxic, just seems like the expectation we have is overwhelming for some of these signings. Leigh should have been great but barely scratched the surface other than for about 2 or 3 weeks, while Wearne looks a shadow of the attacker he was last season. 2 good sales by us judging by...
Assists against Carlisle where he made an easy pass out wide and the LWB created and made the goal himself, Bromley where he passed it across goal (fair play, that's a decent assist) and Grimsby which was a good floated ball.
The goal was a good finish against Harrogate but his assist there was...
He's good between the boxes. Chases things down, I thought he moved the ball forwards pretty well too, he just couldn't pass or shoot in the final third.
I like Wearne, but he cannot shoot for anything. His main trait this year has been running around and fluffing it once it gets into the attacking third, and he's fallen out of favour twice under Lindsey. This honestly is the most expected transfer of the window for me.
At the memorial game...
That’s honestly exactly what we need, we’ve been too soft in the middle with too much reliance on technicality that just hasn’t worked consistently so someone like Jay Williams is a great fit on paper.
We also need a leader there so while I hope we can reign in the anger a bit and hopefully...
