It aligns perfectly, showing how your fans deserted your club when it had nothing to play for.
What you’re evidencing really is team’s generally take less when they’re mid table.
I also think there’s an aspect of submissiveness in Carlisle’s fanbase. Given you took over double this time...
I truly think we live in your head rent free. How looking at AFC’s following at Crewe tonight made you think of our attendance a week ago at Fleetwood is beyond me…
No, I reckon we’d take a few less than the 130 we took as the hardy souls that did that Fleetwood journey would do it regardless, but let’s not all kid ourselves that the floating fan isn’t swayed by good performances and a winning team.
Slightly further for us…
Also, hardly surprising one of the form teams is taking more than one of the team’s towards the bottom of the form table. Shocker.
Finished 2-1 to us after a crazy final couple of minutes where we nearly ended up doing what we usually do and dropping two points with Harrogate’s 92nd minute equaliser. However, a moment of brilliance from a (recently) out of form Alex Gilbey got us the 3 points back just a minute later...
We have been abysmal but are winning 1-0 against Harrogate thanks to one good moment from Joe White (Dan Crowley with his first assist).
Our new CB Nathan Thompson went off injured after 25 minutes. He was our best player on Saturday and looked the answer to our defensive woes so typical he’s...
Harrogate coming to us will bring barely 100.
We’ve also got rearranged fixtures at Carlisle and Barrow coming up. Will do well to reach the 130 we took to Fleetwood last Tuesday…
No, surprisingly not. Plenty of your fans apparently buying food and drinks from our concourse concessions. Think that boycott / ignore us ship has firmly sailed over the last 2-3 years (it’s coincided with you doing better against us in these fixtures, funny that…).
Not that there ever was a...
I mean to be honest the current top 7 have been the best sides so wouldn’t shock me if that’s how it ends up in some order. The rest of us can fight for mid-table supremacy.
Precisely. Last time we played them we had Wearne, Leigh, Tucker, MJ Williams in the squad and we lost 3-0 and 0-2 respectively. Now they’ve all gone we drew 0-0 and were the better side. Coincidence? I think not.
What an awful game of football. Not even a good point despite AFC’s league position because they didn’t even manage a shot on target and we were the better side. At least we kept a clean sheet for the first time since December 3rd, but ultimately 2 points dropped.
Now, 6 hours without a goal...
Well another 45 minutes goes by without a goal against this lot. Over 5 hours since we last scored against them in fact…been the better team though, surprisingly.
