To a degree, yes but at some point those margins will go the other way.
There are some good teams in this league, certainly ones that are better than BW and that will play out over the course of a 44 game season.
Pleased to see Khan on the team sheet, definitely an improvement on Mandy who just hasn't cut it in recent games.
Less pleased to see Payne still in there. Yeah he made the goal on Tuesday but he just doesn't look like scoring one himself.
I'm still bitter about them scoring an undeserved 95th minute equaliser back in September and their bench running on the pitch celebrating like you might when the full time whistle goes in the FA cup final.
Far from our best tonight, looked a little leggy and of course we picked up the obligatory injuries but Eastleigh offered very little in truth so we'll take the points and move on. Tough game for us on Saturday!
And from reading the Notts comments....it's safe to assume that Bromley, Cheek et...
Think you might be thinking of a different Khan (without checking). Are you referring to the one that also played for the yellow-stained, sister touchers from Nottinghamshire?
If so, he's not our guy.
Yeah, i felt a little edgy after Evans scored (WTF was Loach doing there?) but that was more because of the leads we have thrown away so far this season and very little to do with what Boring Wood were doing. I don't recall them creating a half-chance, let-alone a good one after that. We played...
I think we still have more than enough to beat them despite the injury list. The league table suggests they're doing something right but it's really hard to fear a team who has Boden leading the line.
It'll definitely be a scrappy, niggly game though, they'll ensure that's the case.
On one hand i really wouldn't be fussed if we lost today. The way the injuries are mounting up, a potential free weekend might be good for us.
On the other hand, progress might mean generating some funds to bring in a player or two.
