Watched most of the game, Braintree looked decent and organised. On one hand it'd be great to see Braintree to go up and see how they'd cope in league 2. The Cowley family are doing a class job there. On the other hand I do have sympathy for Grimsby after the last few years, remember watching...
Depends what your after, Gunwharf is more bars and definitely expensive.
Albert Road in Southsea has lots of nice pubs and is where I'd recommend. Only a 15 minute walk to the ground too. The default away pub is the Good Companion which is closer but one of those Hungry Horse/Chain pubs.
Looking forward to the game knowing that we're already in the playoffs is abit of relief. Hope it may take some of the pressure off the players and we will end the regular season with a win.
Congratulations Northampton by the way, remarkable achievement considering the off the field problems...
Smith had already played for Swindon and Barnsley this season so was only allowed on a 93 day emergency loan. We needed someone in to fill the gap from Lavery going back so couldn't wait any longer.
Much needed win today, played really well in the first half and should have had the game sewn up. Credit to Doyle for not knocking Bean out towards the end, kept his cool and we saw out the game.
Beat Rovers home and away, won at Stanley and a 0-0 at our place. Would be no easy games but Plymouth and Oxford are the stronger of the sides we could face.
Feeling pretty much the same as I did after we lost at Barnet, a little nervous but we'll probably go on and win saturday now.
I just filled out that predictor again and even with us only picking up 2 more points this season we still hanged onto to a playoff spot.
Huge game on saturday, a win...
In the three years we've been down here our record against Dagenham is W5 D1 so we will definitely miss them.
Won't be missing York quite as much with only the one win against them and that was the 6-0 this season which could/should have been 12-0. Always thought of York as a typical league 2...
