Our owner bangs on about sustainability...if you hadn't noticed...but has probably created one of the least sustainable football clubs on the planet.

It depends how many of our players have had relegation release clauses included in their contracts, given what a cluster the administration of our club is we may find ourselves watching Fankaty Dabo on a mind altering £4.5k per week and our club slowly dying.

I doubt if many of the current squad will still be here next season, regardless of which division we are in, your wish may be granted.

Jeez, that was bad, no bite, no fight...just nothingness...to be fair to Stockport, they actually look a decent team, moved the ball around nicely and their first goal was an absolute banger...but where was our team, we need to win games, but no goals in three games and apparently only two...

Game on but moderate rain forecast from around kick-off time...this one could be abandoned if it rains a bit...we have a history of this!

    Good Friday: 29th March 2024

Someone has posted on our forum that there is a pitch inspection at 10am...this isn't official confirmation from the club, so not sure what their source is...whether it is more wishful thinking than anything else. We have had a lot of rainfall in the area in the last few days, so the pitch may...

Me either, but looking for clues...the white containers look like laundry baskets, perhaps the players have just had a lesson in how to wash their own kit?

    2024-25 Season Ticket Prices

Given that most of your games have pretty much sold out this season, are there any plans to extend the ground to add extra capacity...having looked at pictures of the stadium I'm guessing it would be a bit of a challenge.

Apparently Dale sent his son Dane along to field questions...not sure how well that went.

Last night our club had a meet the Chairman and Manager Q&A session...which was fine except that Dale didn't bother to attend.

    2023/24 League Two Promotion Thread

I wonder what odds could have been had at the start of the season for all of the top three sides in Gloucestershire to be relegated...looking odds on, pardon the betting term, for that to happen. I think the shortest odds would have been on Cheltenham, many would consider them to be punching...

I don't fancy us to get much from our next five: Stockport (h), Crewe (a), MK Dons (h), Mansfield (a) and Wrexham (a)...if we could pick up four points from that lot it would be little short of a miracle, I can see our goal difference taking a hammering from at least a couple of them. If it...

Relegation Thread 23/24 Sponsored by Sadford City

If we go into our last two games, against Morecambe and Notts County, and are still in with a chance of staying up after our next five games against the teams at the top...I might believe a miracle can happen. There is a chance that we will already have been relegated by then or the maths are...

    Saturday 23rd March

It sounds like one of our players hit the ball at the manager and hit him in the hand...who then needed treatment from the physio!

    2024-25 Season Ticket Prices

Far too early for us as the club don't know which division we will be in next season. I think that our season ticket numbers fell this season, compared to last, as we are playing in a lower division and there was less incentive to guarantee a seat for games against the larger teams. I doubt if...

I think Woking used to be part-time, not sure if they still are, which may have been due to the fact that they could attract enough players in their area who had decent (well paid) careers doing something else but who also wanted to play football at a good standard.

I have made a lot of good friends while following Rovers, people whose company I enjoy, if it wasn't for them I would have turned in my season ticket by now. Agree with you there, the fans of most clubs are largely sound...I have friends who follow one of our near rivals, at least...

    The tinpot thread

I think we should get a version of the Israeli flag made up, in club colours, and send it to the club and ask Dale to fly it on the empty flag pole...which would of course indicate that neither he nor the club are taking a side in the ongoing dispute in the Middle East.

Can't say for definite...because I haven't been there for a while...but someone told me that Kiddy have changed their caterer and Aggborough soup, plus their famous pie range, is no more!
