Because of Luton's game v Coventry being moved to Sunday, Sunderland play four times and Luton just once in the next 12 days. The League table could look very different by the time Luton kick off against Coventry if Sunderland can take advantage of some very easy looking games.

Didn't know about that rule change. How obvious do they want to make it that they only care about the bigger teams! Would have been the easiest thing in the world for them to add an amnesty after the 2nd round (and probably after the 3rd Qualifying Round) so everyone is on a level playing field.

Pompey lost your key loan player, Sunderland have lost Maja, Barnsley have lost a couple of players and their assistant manager and Luton have lost their manager. Been a tough transfer window all round at the top of League 1.

I remember being impressed with Moncur in the away game at Barnsley, especially how calm he was in the Luton box getting his head up and picking out a Barnsley player to set up a goal. It was such a contrast to how the Luton players were panicking every time they got into the Barnsley area...
