Steve Evans is very angry (and fat)

Only just getting around to read this thread, but in short, I think Evans is an awful man who try's to follow the Billy Davies school of Management. Everyone's against us and we don't get the rub of the green. Saying that, I hope Rotherham stay up - just change the Manager.

Times reports Brentford to sack Warburton at the end of the season

With all respect, I don't think Warburton has actually achieved much at all, at the moment. He did a decent job at getting Brentford promoted last season, but the squad was pretty much Rosler's, so he carried on his good work. If he gets them into the play-offs come the end of the season, that...

    The Promotion Chasing Thread

Ince has been spectacular in his first two games, that's for sure. He fit's our formation and tactics superbly, so hoping this isn't an initial few good games after signing. It will be interesting to see how the formation / tactics may change now that Martin is out for up to 4 weeks.

    TV Games 2016/17

Although it brings in welcome revenue to the club, I really wish Sky would leave us alone and let us get on with it. We've been on Sky more this season than I can ever remember and barring the Wolves home game, we haven't hit the highs of televised games from last season. It seems to put...

Blackpool FC is not dying, merely sinking to it's natural level

I, for one always thought that Blackpool fans were moaning for the sake of moaning regarding the lack of money spent following their relegation from the Premier League. To be honest and from an outsiders perspective, the team did a remarkable job actually getting into the top league. Looking at...

    Bournemouth v Derby (1st v 2nd)

As I say, just my opinion but I think we controlled the game.

That's one of the injuries that Shaun Barker had. In one challenge, he dislocated his knee, tore his medial and posterior cruciate ligaments - hence the reason for him being out for nearly 3 years.

    Bournemouth v Derby (1st v 2nd)

How can you say you don't have the money to bring in people like Bent and Ince? You had a £5m bid for some kid from Birmingham rejected. I would say that your purse strings are a lot looser than ours. We are paying a fraction of Bent's wage and if rumours are to be believed, we are paying less...

    The East Midlands Thread

Not sure how true, but was told last night that Shaun was determined to play some competitive football again and he will (if able), play some part in the 1st team squad towards the end of the season; providing we don't have anything to play for in the game - he'll get on. From there, he'll...

    Bournemouth v Derby (1st v 2nd)

Good game of which we ended in complete control, I think it showed that with their subs. Two poor defensive errors cost us, but all-in-all, an excellent game between two good footballing sides. I'd have taken a point before the game, but slightly disappointed we didn't win it. Hughes was...

    Bournemouth v Derby (1st v 2nd)

Agreed. Although not a season definer; big, big game tomorrow.

    Bournemouth v Derby (1st v 2nd)

Lets just hope the officials do not spoil/ruin the game by sending a player off wrongly after a minute, or give a goal which showed the player to be 2 yards offside...... Gutted to be missing the game, but will be at the iPro for the beam back. I would take a draw right now.

    740 Bolton at Derby today.

    Derby V Bolton

Couldn't disagree with you more to be honest. Ince was class from the first minute to the last. Bolton had two banks of 4 and 5 and sat there and didn't offer anything. As soon as we went two up, they had to change their style of play and this allowed us to control the game even more. Sloppy...

It's not great, Jose. But its a frigging nightmare to get to on a week night. Factor in the ridiculous cost of tickets for a shitty old stand too. I still think you'll take around 750.

    Derby V Blackburn

Got a bad feeling for this one. I think he'll set them up like Rosler did for Wigan. Rams 1 - 2 Blackburn Opportunity missed to go joint top with our game in-hand.

Anyone doing that God awful trip on a weekday evening deserves respect. You're looking at a 12 hour round journey. I would guess that Boro visited in Aug/Sept, this would have had an impact on the numbers travelling. January, freezing cold, snow would put a lot of people off.

It seems that other team fans still think we'll finish in the top two, I'm not so sure to be honest. We'll be in the play-offs in my opinion :( Oh and hello to all :bye:
