National League Fixtures - 19/20th Nov

Southend have scored TWO goals in 8 away matches this season. Fucking hell.
  2. DontBringBertie

National League Fixtures - 19/20th Nov

Southend haven’t changed their game plan from last week against us then. Pass it around slowly between the back 4 and midfield, then chip aimless balls forward.
  3. DontBringBertie

National League Fixtures - 19/20th Nov

Yep, probably a good time to play you. We’ve not drawn yet (won 7 lost 7) - probably be 2-1 either way.

Match Day FA 1st Round - 5-8th November

Hopefully that’s Stockport knackered before the game at Kingfield on Saturday then. Excellent.
  5. DontBringBertie

    National League Fixtures - 13/11

Look forward to us losing yet again.

Most tinpot thing I ever heard. (tinpot thread)

Yate Town couldn’t get their floodlights to work for over an hour for their replay with Dover tonight. Then blamed Dover. “We WAS ready”

Match Day FA Cup 4th qualifying round Oct 16

So we actually went and lost to Horsham on a 3G bouncy castle. Who are even below Bowers and Pitsea in their league…
  11. DontBringBertie

Match Day FA Cup 4th qualifying round Oct 16

Surely not another Shortwood Interesting away draw for us v Horsham. Makes a change from Welling/Ebbsfleet/Maidenhead etc we tend to have.

    Stickied Non-League Away Support 2024/25

Definitely looked like 1,000+ away fans to me.
  13. DontBringBertie

Match Day National League October 9

Apparently Rosemary had a gif of Garry Hill celebrating ready to send back since 2912. But genuinely she has time for anyone, always accomodating.
  14. DontBringBertie

Match Day National League October 9

I think a combination of international weekend and our recent run of form helped the crowd. Definitely one of our biggest home crowds in recent years apart from the Watford FA Cup match and Aldershot games (which we always lose as well).
  15. DontBringBertie

Match Day National League October 9

I was behind the goal for our chances in the 2nd half, would say they were only half chances from fairly wide angles. Fully expected a 1-0 Grimsby from about 60mins in.
  16. DontBringBertie

Match Day National League October 9

So our head to head v Grimsby: Grimsby wins 8 Draws 1 Woking wins 0 We even managed two defeats in 5 days back in 2016. Rumours are that this is the Best Grimsby Side Garry Hill Has Ever Seen™️
  17. DontBringBertie

Most tinpot thing I ever heard. (tinpot thread)

Hahahaha Stops about 35 yards in front of the away fans. Its like doing that thing where you ’slag someone off’ but do it behind your hand so they don’t actually hear.

    Stickied Non-League Away Support 2024/25

I meant segregated between home and away fans, so your 2nd sentence should be the way it works. Usually we just sell say 1,100 away tickets and the first 450odd away fans who want seats on the day get them. The remaining 650 away fans have to stand.
